Absolutely beautiful day out. Little warm in the sun, but great sitting on porch with the breeze.
A nice east west contrail, with a jet flying thru it not leaving a contrail.

More work drama, one of the execs, who I know well and get along with, has disappeared to take a breather.
And another person I know and work with a lot just quit.

Starting to be like the Mary Celeste .......

You have other options or networks in the mix?

no longer do I need to get out of bed at 3am in the pouring rain to turn on my house generator for the sole purpose
of making sure my basement sump pump keeps working. Now battery backed.
Pretty scuzzy in there, no surprise since the output of the washing machine gets dumped into the sump. That then is pumped out into the
line of trees, under some big pines, in between the properties, the part always wet from road water. So it gets hidden.
Must break sixteen plumbing codes.
could be worse. If the kitchen sink drain went there too, that would not be good at all.

looks like a big Wayne pump down there. It must have a million hours on it.
Next time I'm downstairs I'll check to see if it has pumped out, and if so, will soak the whole
existing pump in Clorox cleaner. I guess the detergent in the washing machine has controlled the crud.
should be just rain water and hvac condensate, which also gets dumped in there, constant drip.
actually can just reach down there and pull on the float to pump it out as far down as possible.
that goes on the to do list

plumber was shaking his head, he's been here before, for many years actually.

Thank the Lord for the rain that fell on Texas today. Even if I didn’t get any, I’m glad some did!
Also no rain here in central Texas North of Austin. The rain sure looked good in Austin on the 5 o'clock news. We continue, 100˚ this afternoon, this evening 91˚, HI 98, 54% humidity.

Kyle, it looks like some parts of Lee county got rain, any luck at the home front?
