70 going to 93. No rain yesterday, but another 30% chance today...was 30% chance yesterday...can't we make this accumulative, so I'm up to 60%?

Buppies, looks like she is enjoying herself on that very nice mower.

Had a bad cramp in my leg doing exercises yesterday, so grilled some brats (and a chicken dog for my wife) to use as "mustard delivery systems." Then got a bit of mowing done in the old Coco frisbee field...actually needed it to be dry...it had grown so tall from the last batches of rain, and with part of it overtaken with buttonweed, because that stuff just never dries out.

Hummingbirds are going through over a gallon of "juice" a day now. If they didn't do aerial territorial battles all day, they'd burn fewer calories. But birds will be birds.

Hoping the wind will stay calm long enough for me to do some way-overdue spraying.

While setting on the deck last evening Mrs. ask me to help her for couple mins, to hold each kitten while she cut their toe nail had wrap each kitten in towel and hang on,talk about 2 PO kittens and there kept there distance afterwards with nasty look.

Plans for today...4 stops in town,cleans critter feeding area,drop Mrs. Buick off at dealership 2 sensors need replacing all before noon...guess I better get @ss hauling.

PopG, my father had his pilots license years ago and frequently flew out to Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket along with Block Island ! My parents would go out for the day, Mom loved to walk the beaches ! Do you have your IR rating ? Although I guess that wouldn’t help much with thunder clouds going to 40,000 ft !

Good morning. Cooling off here lately - Big storm off the west coast. Unfortunately those winds raised hell with fire in Hawaii. Prayers for all of those who lost so much in the island firestorm. Now ranked the deadliest fire in US history.
I got some seat time mowing the mustard weed in the lower fields yesterday evening. That's a miserable job between the dust and the pollen. I wore a mask but my awoke with my eyes full of grit. That is the one job I wish I had a cab for. Got done around dark thirty. The Kubota runs like a champ. Love the hydrostatic drive and flail mower combo for all the turning around in the wedged corners the creek creates in this field.

Our humming birds do that dive bombing thing here also ! Funny to watch, as they are very possessive of their territory ! Fun to watch them in the morning with a hot cup of coffee !

Also on your leg cramp issues, I find that if I drink plenty of water during the day, I have less chance of leg cramps in bed at night !

That is crazy high for propane ! Do you own your own tanks ?
Up here I own two tanks, one is a 330 gal and another 100 gal behind the house ! I just pre bought 400 gals for $2.05 per gal. Propane prices lower this year compared to last ! If you own your own tanks you can shop around for better supply prices. Just a suggestion!

Morning all, 67 going up to 89 and WU says sunny, but thick clouds disagree.
I think their prediction engines are running on ethanol.

Got more holes drilled to run wires, had wife come down and do measurements with me. This of course has now changed to a design issue since there will be external piping.
I will need to move where the garage inside unit will go to another wall, as no matter how I measure, I can't fit the pipe through where it will be under the stair stringer, and I doubt the piping will fit in the 1" of space. Not a biggy, but will change piping layout.
So will probably buy one unit, with a two zone system in case we want to expand later if wife ever approves me running the piping under the decking for the upper deck.

Popgadget - sorry to hear about all the lightning damage. I thought you had a whole house arrester?

Looks like I will be drilling more holes for wires today as that will be the best, shortest run and I hate to wire staple them on.
