Good evening all. Spent a lot of time at Home Depot yesterday getting all the finicky little hoses, fixtures and what not for the new basement bathroom, basement kitchen sink, and laundry tub. Started putting it all together today, but it was such a nice day that I gave up got on the Sea-Doo and drove around for a little while to visit our renters. Then I was waylaid by the neighbors next-door who pulled me off the Sea Doo and plied me wine on their dock. They are really nice and I think we’re going to have a lot of fun with them.

More finicky plumbing connections tomorrow, and then Wife arrives, and we go to an annual party on our Bay called “Alapalooza“ which is the social event of the year. Lots of fun and a chance to visit with all of our cottage neighbors all at once. Plus some great food!

Have a good night, everyone!

Good late (Sunday) arvo. Overnight Low of 2C and it's presently 14.9C (after a brief High of 18C) It's clear and calm. Fridays rain put 11.7mm in the gauge, which I checked today after returning from Church.

Yesterdays drive down to Hobart was without incident and was a clear run... nobody in front of me until I got into 'city' traffic. The conference went very well, although a wee bit late for me (1730). I stopped at a McDonalds to grab a quick meal before heading home which gave me a 'second wind'. I again experienced a clear run home, praying that there would be no critters attempting suicide. I just missed a wombat standing in the middle of the 2-lane highway... "what the HE77 are you DOING there!"

Anyway, home by 2145, a pipe and a cup of kye (Navy hot chocolate) and then straight to bed.

Church was lovely this morning and, after lunch, I cleaned out the wood-heater and flue. I must have done a good job on that as it's drawing hot & clean now. I also changed out the "Smart Burn" canister as they only last around 3 months.

That's about it, take care all.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 65° with mostly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 70° with rain all day. Got trim completed on chicken coop. Then caulked all exposed edges. Next step will be paint. Will be a few day before getting to that with rain forecast for a few days.
Tractor tires were delivered yesterday at 7pm. To wrong address. My address is well displayed. FedEx must higher the stupidest people. Neighbor brought them over at 8pm. Will get them mounted today.

Prayers and best wishes for all.

Good Morning All.

Good morning, 65 going to 88 today with rain in FC later today

Cody got me up early

Finished stacking under the barn. Two rows will keep it out of reach of rain water splashing on the lower part. The third row in the back are oversized pieces that will need to be resplit. Now will stack up the firewood shed with firewood for the rest of the pile.

Was able to get the top door hinge to hold screws after gluing in enough dowels. Nothing is standard on over 200 year old doors. The door is more than 3 ft wide and very heavy. Will continue on the middle hinge today that was doweled yesterday.

Had a very tasty dish yesterday using Zaatar spices.

Plan today more of the same as yesterday

Glad your mower is working out for you Buppies. The 1211 can wait
