5 hours and happily/safely parked under Ron's tree, a/c keeping me cool and I'm about to take a long nap. Not a bad drive, just long and hard on my neck.
I have a LOT of pics. Thank goodness for Ron's fast wifi.
most of pics were from trip to Mackinac island

finding a house with a bark roof was pretty neat

ran my old boat for over two hours around all the islands, ,what fun

88° and sunny. Storms starting to pop up.
Yard needs mowed, too hot to sharpen blades first.
I tell people I’m about 95% recovered from GBS and don’t think the pain in feet will ever go away. But thankful to be where I am, and walking. Some people die from it. I’m thankful for the relatively early diagnosis and the $125,000 of medicine that stopped it from advancing.
Hope Buppies is ok.

fun trip to Les Chenaux maritime museum. Lots of historic Chris Craft info. Largest boat in line for 1930 was a 48" cruiser with twin 250hp engines.

I so wanted to find a Pasty and I did in supermarket.
I'm told they are a little dull....

BEF , probably around 20 bees, limited by resolution.
Hearing about GBS and how you pulled through sounds tough, but we are all glad here that you did and are able to be as normal as you want.
Health issues can really set life on the back burner sometimes.

Congratulations on being back to 95%! Hopes and prayers you get to 💯 % soon. You seem like a ”never give up” kinda guy!

KJC, puppy cams are great. Years ago, I had 2 exterior, no sound cameras pointed across front yard from opposite sides. We also had 6 boxers at the time. Set up so I could monitor remotely. Sophie and I go to town one day. Sitting in Baskin Robbins, enjoying our treat, I decide to check in on the furry kids. I’m surprised to see Flash, our older male dipping a paw into the pool. Got my attention, having never witnessed before. We watch as it becomes apparent he is working Vinny the Vacs floating hose to the wall. After a few industrious minutes I see Flash with Vinny’s hose in his mouth, the other end in Pele’s, his daughter and they are enjoying tug of war. No sound on these cams, so could only observe. As Sophie remarked, sitting 20 miles away nothing we could do. Vinny survived, none the worse.

Good morning, 87 going to 88 today. Rain in the forecast with flood watch until 8:00 PM.

The housing for the pressure washer came in so may look at that this afternoon.

Yesterday mowed most of the near the house lawns and along the fence up at the highway.

This morning went up to the orchard for pick up of veggies. Very pretty drive.

BEF, glad the outcome was good. Autoimmune diseases are difficult to treat as wife can attest to.

Ken, layoffs can be stressful. Hope it turns around soon

Drew, nice pictures. Glad that your trip is working out well for you and Ron's RV park is great place to be

The old pear tree does not always bear pears but this year it looks like we may have some.
