Good Morning
74 and foggy out there now. Supposed to burn off soon and make it passed 90 with thunderstorms likely. Yesterday was hot and humid, but no thunderstorms materialized here.

Yesterday started out moving hay from the shed to the barn before it got too hot, then onto the Lazer mower, I did get all the mowing done, here’s a view out the back of the tractor as I was nearing completion .

I did it without my helper, he went to the river with his parents for a day of water sports with his cousins. Here they are all loaded up about to head out.

Did some online recurrent TSA training, checked in with the restaurant to make sure the ice machine was still online and called it a day.

Forgot to mention stepdaughter lost her senior dog, Scooter, Saturday morning. She had him 14 years, was about one when she got him.
Sorry for your daughter's pupper dog.
Good evening. I typed this reply this morning, and it was painfully slow. I would type, took forever for anything to appear. Page refreshed and it all disappeared. This evening, my original post is back…..strange. So edit it a bit and post it,

Been trying to find someone to paint a bike I have been working on. I have struck out with 3 other painters. They all claim to be too busy. Found one yesterday 5 miles from the house. Didn’t even know he was there, and we have several mutual friends! So today will be getting parts ready to go.

And I got everything ready to go. The it was date night and we had a nice dinner at the Tiki Bar outside.

Everyone stay safe out there.
Would this be the British bike, or the one you won? I figured you'd be a good painter too?

riptides, prayers for your daughter. On another subject, your wifey does have an A/C cab tractor. RNG bought all the Shiner Bock in bottles on the west coast, so don't drive out there.

Riptides (in the surf) are bad, I had to "coach up" my daughter by text when I heard about them in Florida so bad last week.

We had BBQ ribeyes for the 4th. They were on sale $4.49/lb. My wife is very finicky about her meat, by the time she performs surgery on her steak (cutting out all the fat), there's only a few shreds left. We watched the wonderful county fireworks show, in a gentle breeze.

The chihuahua chased a squirrel up the tree. I should get it on video. It's hilarious as she's not much bigger than the squirrel who was flipping it's tail at her.

Pressure washer stopped suddenly while using it. I tried to start it and it kicked back so hard, it yanked the pull handle out of my hand so fast, it struck me on the ribs and left a scratch and a big red spot. Oh well. Son and I were washing the SUV.

MIL might want/need the Traverse back. I told her we'd park it under the tractor shed to keep the sun off of it, and to come borrow it whenever. A/C is working great, fixed the window switches, ordered some of the plastic fasteners for the fender liners and the cover over the radiator. Daughter says she doesn't like it, its "ugly" styling. Says she wants to buy her own car. Stay tuned.

Pennwalk, hard to beat fresh peaches. Yum.

Drew, safe travels and keep the sunny side up.

BEF, I'm thankful you are over that GB crap. What a knockdown to get back up from! Glad you are mostly back to normal.

Nice pictures all!

I won a few items at an auction about 30 minutes away, it was a shop that ended up losing in a divorce battle. I would've bought a lot more, but no room, and low money.

Prayers for our team, our country, Ukraine, and for Putin to find God.

Morning all, 76 going to 91 and cloudy/humid.
Got an M18 inflator and was playing around with it yesterday, pumps fast enough to fill a flat lawntractor tire to full without jack or straps.
Otherwise just did watering yesterday after work, too hot to do much else outside in the afternoon.

Might mow some of the side areas if I can get out of work before it rains, if it rains.

More people got the pink slip, my old team down to 2 left , including me.

Uncle goes in for Stents on 10th, Brother goes in on 12th. Do we get a family discount based on volume?

Pennwalk-reminded me I need to check peaches to see if any ripe, or even if any left by the deer.

Drew - safe travels.

Be Well,

Time to play count the bees.

Good morning! 83˚F heading to the mid 90s with a South wind and partly cloudy skies.
Had a pre-op with cardiologist yesterday now I just need to get a diagnosis on my knee from the orthopedic Dr.. The pre-opt-apt is good for 6 months and this appoint was the day I called or November so I jumped the gun and took it. it was time for my 2 year exam anyway. Everything normal on 12 lead EKG and blood test - good to go. I was really surprised that the blood test results were available to me on the medical portal just 12 hours after they took the blood.

First eggplant
small harvest of flowers
uncrowded pool at new amenity center - indoor AC working and water at 79˚ made for a pleasant swim.

Good Morning!!!! 58F here on Lompoc. Mostly cloudy early, then sunshine for the afternoon. High 67F. Winds NW at 10 to 20 mph.

Yesterday's Home Depot experience was something less than stellar. I tried to put together an order so it would be ready for pickup, but the website refused to let me order a 4x4x8' piece of lumber, insisting I had to pick it up in person. Uh, yeah, that's the whole idea... So I cut'n'pasted the order into my phone, and spent almost an hour with four different employees trying to find the Simpson Strong Tie hardware the website said was in stock. We looked up the isle and bay locations and found wood and doors instead. I was able to patch enough stuff together to get the job done, I think, but I hope I never have to shop at that store again. At one point I had my phone out looking up the parts at a nearby Lowes, something that as a Home Depot stock holder I'm normally loath to do. But I got a customer survey form with my receipt, and will be filling it out with all the unfortunate details.

Similar experience with the local Costco, which is much larger than the one at home, but didn't contain nearly the same variety of goods I'm used to. Couldn't even find the famous Costco u-bake pizzas, but even worse, not a sign of the Basil Hayden Bourbon I've become so fond of! Just one of those days, I guess.

Will actually start making sawdust on the shed roof today; wonder how long it'll be before I need to head to the hardware store again?

TGIF gang!

76F and mostly cloudy @ 11:30, becoming less cloudy later and heading up to around 80F for the day's high.

Yesterday played out like I suspected it would: the rain stayed to the north and south of us.

Chance of rain today less than 5%.

Got those last 10 strawberry plants potted up yesterday afternoon.

Finished mowing down around the house.

Also got the compost/woodlot mowed down.

Helped The Woman with some window washing.

Ordered a pizza from Little Caesars for dinner, ran over and picked that up. Also got 5 gallons of gas to refill the Cub while I was out. Need to refuel it today.

Not sure what all else on agenda.

Hope everyone is having a Good Friday ... (y)

67°F and .22 inches rain. Passing showers.

Hoping it clears like yesterday and I can resume mowing. Getting Hilo end of property would get me caught up.
Pigs have been quite active in that area. Often see a pair with 4 little ones.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

I got the meadows mowed but I was thinking the mower wasn't cutting that good when I noticed the deck lift pedal was pressed so it was mowing really high. I don't know when that happened or who was responsible but I guess it will be corrected next week. o_O

Chris

I have that happen sometimes too.
