Wife is feeling better after her monthly biological injection last Monday. It is like she is running the gas tank down at the end of the month with lack of sleep and much pain. The cost was 13000 dollars. Hard to believe that the drug company charge that much for just one injection.
I have set her up with a small container garden outside on the patio that she enjoys watering and tending to. She is not able to walk up to the garden with the deer fence so there is some loss to critters on the patio but she loves gardening even if deers and raccoons will take their share

Today is the 4th anniversary of the day I came down with Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) so I went up to Pine Grove Furnace where it started.
First we had lunch in downtown Gettysburg. Here is where Lincoln gave his famous speech.

Hiked a short section of the AT next to the AT museum.

Drove around back roads looking at the many log cabins in the woods. Stopped at the ice cream stand, but too many people and the line wasn’t moving.
Went to a restaurant we like for supper.
Drove by the birthplace of Francis Scott Key. Not far from my house.

Good evening. I typed this reply this morning, and it was painfully slow. I would type, took forever for anything to appear. Page refreshed and it all disappeared. This evening, my original post is back…..strange. So edit it a bit and post it,

Been trying to find someone to paint a bike I have been working on. I have struck out with 3 other painters. They all claim to be too busy. Found one yesterday 5 miles from the house. Didn’t even know he was there, and we have several mutual friends! So today will be getting parts ready to go.

And I got everything ready to go. The it was date night and we had a nice dinner at the Tiki Bar outside.

Everyone stay safe out there.

77° but still very humid. Went out and watered garden. Hoed some weeds also. I’ve been weaving tomato plants in and out of the cattle panel when I can. They are growing fast.

Now sitting in front of fan to dry off.

Good (Friday) morning. Overnight Low of 1.3C and it's presently 14.1C, mostly sunny with a gentle breeze. Rain expected early tomorrow but the Guess-timaters keep on adjusting the amount I'll receive.

Woke up to find the 'Mad Agisting Horse Woman' out in Paddock #1 looking after her horse "Rum"... very concerned about a weeping eye. Short story is that she's loaded him up (0900) in her float and has taken him to Scottsdale to an equine Vet. That's a good 2 hour (one way) trip. The 2 lane highway (100 kph - "drive to the conditions") is a very twisty road over/through the tiers (semi- mountainous).

It's a fun drive with many switch-backs... not so when hauling a horse-float.

That's about it, take care all.

Good evening all. 74ºF for the start, partly cloudy sky, light breeze. light wind with moderate gusts, variable cloudiness, and High temp was 93ºF, HI 101ºF. Cold front went through then stalled. I will have several days of possible rain(up to 50%) and cooler temp before usual temps return :) Putter the bike ride, bike performed better with lubed chain and less brake drag. After lunch got husky lawn mower finish started and tested. Rings not acting like they reseated, and drive belt got shredded. Not bad will get new drive belt and see if I can fix routing problem. No woos got restacked, did get some cleaning done in kitchen.
