71F...4th or maybe 5th heavy down pour more coming over night,1 cell had t storm thunder rattle windows as they say.

Setting on the deck last evening little busy with critters,Boo,Doris 3 other deer,2 gray fox,1 BIG raccoon.

Busy work day...between down pours Mrs. and I were able put fence and screening around rose bushes.

Plans for the evening...dinner,recliner me time,watch some YT out the door early AM.

RS, same landscape fabric we've been using...has held up well for 4 years.

Thanks - that's great to know ... glad it is working out ...

What we got ended up being a little lighter weight than what I imagined it would be. Probably due to my previous experience with geo-tex fabric for road building/paving.

Of course that stuff comes in 12.5' wide rolls, is $$$ and pretty heavy, and isn't marked @ 1' intervals for the rows.

We cut plant holes in ours, but no burn tool, so have some fraying, not bothersome, but not neat like yours will be.

We'll see how well the melting works to keep it from fraying.

When I cut it with the hot knife it was folded in half ... so 3' to cut. Some parts kind of melted together but I was still able to separate it without making a mess.

Installed 8 ft tall deer fence with gates 8 ft and 16 wide and big enough to use the tractor inside without taking off the loader.

@Thomas- Thanks for the +'s. She has an appointment scheduled with her PCP Wednesday per her "agreement." Professionally, I understand the need for HIPPA, but personally I hate it. Her "Healthcare Providers" have received a couple of certified letters from me with my concerns in the past with understandably no response. Sooner and/or later Peg will get the services/treatment she needs whether she likes it or not and it will be out of my "hands." That's reality and I am saddened, but "OK" with how this may play out. Going "outside of 'Jay'" from a clinical diagnostic perspective, sadly a very interesting case study. close to .

Nope ... never bothered to, was doing good to keep it all picked, eaten, or given away.

I was chuckling thinking of RS handing his wife those free coupons. I think he would get lucky...

The actual reality of it is, is that's more likely I'd get a beating ... if I accepted them.

She's not exactly down with all this gardening/planting/etc. ... think She would be pretty content to sit on the couch and watch the tube or go visiting if given Her druthers ...

Which itself is all fine (She's earned it) ... except some activity (exercise) is needed ... which is part of why I do it and try to enlist Her participation.

She does like the pretty flowers though.

And She puts up with me ... so there's that as well ...
