Ready to resume painting tomorrow. Quick stop at HD cost me more than expected, mostly cans of spray paint, new BBQ brush, lump charcoal, and mixed selection of bungee cords.

14 showed up for Happy Hour, new waiter seemed to be struggling, but should have been pleased with his tips.

Good Morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly…).

59.2F, going to low 80s, sunny all day. It cleared up nicely yesterday, but with all the water in The ground, it was quite humid.

back several months ago, in one of the local antique stores, I found an old Sargent hand-saw vise. I finally broke down last week and bought a couple brand-new triangular files, and yesterday sharpened five hand saws, including two vintage Disston saws, one of which is bro alt somewhere around the century mark. It is nice to have them all back in full operation. I really scored with that vise, i had been looking for one for several years but they always were priced ridiculously high. I think this one was priced at $18 IIRC.

Later in the day, we went up to the woodlot sans dogs. Planted a 3x3 parsley patch, a 10’ llbe of sunflowers, and a double row of beets, and I set up trellises for the tomatoes. I need two more trellises to get the last couple plants supported, and I forgot to apply pelletized lime, but that will likely be today. I also will plant several potatoes in tires.

When we were done, I took Mrs out to local Mexican restaurant. While we were working, she had a gravity atack and manages to get a bit muddy, and was upset about being unable to go out somewhere as we had planned, so she wanted takeout. I really didn’t want takeout… so on the way I reminded her that it wasn’t Sunday, and a lot of the local workers go there straight from work, often still with paint/plaster/concrete on their clothes, and she relented. And we had a good time and beiyher of us had to do dishes or try to eat with two sets of noses and teeth staring at us cadging handouts.

Tonight is a concert by the Air National Guard orchestra at the local PAC, so that should be fun.

I hope everyone has a happy healthy safe blessed day!!!

We are grandparents again! A beautiful baby girl!
Still don have a weight yet, but perfectly healthy!
Mom is doing great after almost 12 hours of labor.

Nothing done today....except stay inside in the A/C.

Didn't feel too good at first this morning, bit of some GI upset. Then about an hour later, a strange new pain in the back of the knee, and occasional popping. Pain is still there, but a lot better.

Decided it would be better if I took a 'personal day' instead of trying to do stuff outside.

Wifey was in agreement.... that's all I needed to hear!

Time to get more details about our new granddaughter!
Congratulations!!!!!

Poured first cup of coffee. 61° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 72° with cloudy skies. .85" rain yesterday. Everyone time I thought it would clear up yesterday. I would go outside and start something I would get rained on. Finally decided to set on back porch and relax. Should be able to get things done outside today.

good morning all
wow did it rain last night, 1.93 on gauge and more coming today
sump pump ran a lot

Ted, great news, congrats. Time for some serious goochie goos.

friend from church coming over for lunch, we will do hoagies in the rv.
I have it all packed with food, washed rv yesterday, probably all black streaked again from rain but so be it.

Tomorrow I leave on my trip so today I try to figure out what I've forgotten. Looking forward to staying at Ron's home outside Detroit
on way and way back from Cedarville, MI, and then will see RS on way back also. Lastly stopping in Lancaster to see old friends, they own Lancaster Honda, and where I bought my Honda Foreman in 1988. That atv is up at friends cabin in Catskills and still runs perfectly.

lawn mowing service comes this morning, folks who do my weedeating. I need them to mow it all for next two weeks. With all this rain, grass is going to come
jumping back up.
