Morning, 65 going up to 82 and more rain.
Had around 3" rain last night and hours of heavy lightning and thunder, hear work crews off in the distance.
Son had shift canceled due to weather so he is bummed, but driving in that storm last night would have been too dangerous.

Jay- sorry to hear-hopefully all this will work out with the wife.
LS congratulations - will need pictures of course of the new grandchild
KC- no saw pictures?
Drew - safe travels and have a lot of fun

Probably do more inside work today. Hope kid gets a shift tonight, but not lookking good with the weather.

Fawn pic was from a screenshot from a video my brother took, looking thru a screen door, which is why you can barely tell what it was.
Apparently all the tree mess now moved out of the yard. There is a large pile of limbs in the orchard to get burned this winter. Large firewood chunks behind the building, a bunch put in the basement for next winter.
I still need to build him new cellar doors, last time I went he expected me to have them.

A motorcyclist, reportedly going over 100 mph lost in an accident with a semi the other day. So many bad accidents.

Nothing on todays agenda. Didn’t sleep much, then slept in.
One reason my camper is so dirty, I don’t want to use the well water. No rain here, maybe today. We did get over 1” one day, but need to start watering again.
Just noticed my weather station hasn’t updated online in 3 days. Pretty annoying. Still having Starlink issues. I’m using cell data right now.

I want to thank everyone for their kind thoughts about my wife. Her appointment with her PCP may prove "interesting", but I will not be present due to Wife's wishes which actually "works" with/for me. We'll see.

Another hazy, foggy, misty, drizzly morning with periods of light rain shower activity. This morning's low temperature was 61ºF and it is currently 71ºF with an anticipated afternoon high temperature in the mid70ºF's. This unsettled weather will continue through the afternoon with rain showers and/or T-storm possible.

I walked around the lower perimeter ~5:30AM this morning due to an early morning visit with my PCP. Following making coffee, feeding the birds, and other normal morning routines I was ready to get going only to find Mr Bear munching off the hopper feeder. He would not leave with a lot of noise making. So I threw a dog ball at him. The throw was way off target, but the bear went over to inspect that ball before returning to his breakfast. Some neighbor is probably feeding him..... Not good On the good: He is no longer favoring his right forepaw.

It was a nasty drive down in to the CT River valley this morning due to the heavy dense fog in the higher elevations of the Berkshires Mountains. My A1C was 6.4 and with great #'s on all the other test parameters. This really surprises me considering my new and "bad" dietary habits.

This weather pattern is really messing with my outdoor plans.

I hope that everyone has a manageable day today.

Had plenty of unstable weather here last night..We didn't the rain, got some wind, but lost electricity at 10:30 and it didn't come back on till 7:00 this morning..We heard a transformer blow and instant darkness..

64F and supposedly foggy outside @ 12:45, calling for a high of only 70F. Most of the rain has moved off to the north and east. A stray shower or thunderstorm still possible however.

The closest local (personal) weather station reports 1.21" total yesterday and 1.30" since midnight apparently.

We should be pretty well watered at this point I'd say. That's a good thing for the most part, the only downside it that it will probably delay getting back into the garden.

Be interesting to see what the drought monitor report says when it gets released on Thursday. Ten Day says chances for rain get up to around 50% starting on Friday and run through Sunday.

Spent most of yesterday afternoon/evening conserving energy ... though I did get some bills scheduled for payment and a bunch of paperwork sorted out and the crap shredded. Likely more of that on the agenda today.

Did not get a haircut ... so that is definitely on the agenda today, along with doling out the meds for this coming week.

UPS set to deliver another blueberry plant plus another 60 strawberry plants tomorrow.

And I got an email this morning that the other order of 3 Butterfly Weeds and 3 Swamp Milkweeds has shipped as well. So will really be in trouble at some point ...

Bird feeders are all in need of refilling so I'll get to that here in a few.

Otherwise, just take the rest of the day as it comes.
