My cholesterol level is fine, and IMO most of the cholesterol hysteria is just a way to generate sales to pharmaceutical companies. Again IMO processed foods, artificial additives, and refined sugars are more responsible for cholesterol “problems” than a natural product that humans have been consuming for hundreds of thousands of years. How do you keep your cholesterol levels down?
Are you one of those 3% whose cholesterol levels do not respond to dietary cholesterol as seen at 1:55 in this YouTube?

not that I completely avoid all those bad things I just listed, but I do keep them fairly limited and tend to ignore the “recommended” things and stick to what my grandmothers used to cook (both lasted into their late 90’s). Lots of cabbage and pork with plenty of onions and garlic. Lots of garlic. LOTS of garlic… Garlic in my scrambled eggs in the morning sets the tone for the day.
Beef/Chicken/Fish are also regulars on the menu.
Dinner today is going to be Anglicized Egg Foo Yung with brown beef gravy (and a healthy dose of garlic).
