I would say that it’s nothing like the Milwaukee. The Milwaukee motor is perpendicular to the driver.
Should all work on the principle of pulling up the striker mechanism against a spring or compressed gas and then triggering it to strike. A motor seems to be present so maybe a high torque small rotation type to lift up the striker or?

Mower was low on gear oil when we checked this morning. Dad couldn’t find his jug, I know he had some, but I finally went back to TSC and got some. Glad they put TSC in town a couple years ago, used to be 45 min drive each way. Was 1/2 Qt low.
My brother came over, so I pulled this column out of my truck that I picked up yesterday at Menards, he put it in where dad had knocked post out in the barn.

Mower working again.

The lights went out here brown outs and flickers for about 1.5 hours. Made a mad dash running around the house to shut off juice to freezer, fridges (2), stove, sump pump, well pump my computer and his too. Juice came back on 15 minutes ago. That is the first time the hydro has gone out since last January, so I cannot fault them too badly.
84°F right now. Going to 86 tomorrow.

We started and terminated with wrapping the wire around the post rather than staples though.

I'd still put staples at the top & bottom, plus one or two evenly spaced between. The wire will stretch over time, even due to environmental factors and begin to 'bow'.

Think of it as "a stitch in time...".

Good (Thursday) morning. Overnight Low of 6.2C and it's presently 13.4C, clear with a gentle breeze. there was 8.5mm in the gauge at 0900.

What a difference from yesterday, though... howling wind throughout the day and into the evening. Fortunately I only suffered a couple of tree limbs down and the gutter on my wood-shed came off (but didn't disappear). I definitely heard a tree 'crack', but I think it was a neighbour's. The later rain was welcome as May has been a dry month... only 20.3mm total.

I do need to head back into town to arrange a mew 'meeting venue'. The one that we've been using for years (new management/owners) has decided to charge us A$100 for the use of one of their meeting rooms. Previously it was free as we (8 to 14 people) would gather for drinks & a meal prior... so, they're now going to miss out on the income from that meal too. I physically stopped off, yesterday, to discuss the situation but 'they' weren't available and haven't called me today. Oh, well.

That's about it, take care all.

Wife showed me footprints she found in some of her flower beds. We are dealing with something much larger than a coon….. Hmmmmm. Plus a duck “disappeared“ today.

I had finally decided I needed a hydraulic top link. ordered it early last week, installed it today. Should have done this a long time ago.

RNG, glad you are taking your time finding a van....I know you only want to buy once. I've found that I prefer most options....until they break. Most will last.

Prayers for Elon, our team, our country, Ukraine, and for putin to get over short man syndrome.

Rich, nice top link. I've been enjoying the mile flat track races. Just wish the corners weren't 1 line.

Hope to take son fishing this Saturday down in Port O'connor Texas. Salt water. We usually stay in the shallow bay system.

63F and clear @ 23:30, heading down to around 55F in the overnight.

Was warm this afternoon but there was a nice breeze and it was comfortable again ... probably due to the dry air/day's low DP's (38F ---> 58F)

LWS claims today's high hit 89.6F, supposed to be a tad warmer tomorrow (90F) and then even warmer on Friday (92F)

Got potted plants around back all watered first thing, wasn't long before the squash and 'cukes looked like they really appreciated the drink.

USPS delivered Airtag and keychain for The Airhead, still have to set that up.

Was able to muscle radial arm saw head free, eventually cut enough 2x's for decking almost 4 six-foot shelves (have 6 shelves total) and got those all put on the metal horizontals then transferred the plants that were on a (essentially new) piece of 3/4 plywood over to the 2x decking.

Water Buffalo refilled and moved over to the northeast planting bed. Also watered asparagus.

Five or six more gallon cans of paint moved from around back to up front for disposal.

Hopper feeder refilled.

Newly repainted bluebird house put up at the Nest Box No. 1 location.

Moved some equipment around to back.

Did some more string-trimming and raked up leaves and debris up in front of shop. Just took that up a little bit ago before I got my shower and dumped it at compost pile.

Phone and apps all updated.

Schedule some bills for payment, then probably see about getting more seeds planted in pots, and unpack that plant order.

Weed kill in garden area looking very good ... (y)

Hope everyone had a great Wednesday ... ;)

53° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 89° with lots of sun. Got most of the house work done yesterday. Grocery shopping early. Then Dr appointment. Then finish cleaning house.
Did not take long for Peonies to bloom. Brought this plant from our previous home. Over 50 years ago.

Everyone stay well and safe.

Good Morning All.

good morning all
you first have to get peony ants, then come the flowers...
not sure of my eyes but I think there's a tiny black ant on that one flower

long, fun but tiring board meeting last night, send off for current head of board, nice pot luck dinner, my store bought desserts went over well.
Our one Greek board member made home made octopus salad, my was that good, and not chewy at all.

next couple of days going to be very warm. Haircut this afternoon, not much else planned, maybe mow this afternoon. Been a while since I've mowed
since it stopped raining. And finally the fiberglass repair kit came in so likely going to get a coat of that on. Now have three coats of underlayment. Have no idea how many top coats needed. slowly grasshopper....

coffee going down but slow to wake up

struck out going to American Legion building yesterday with my old flag. No outdoor containers, just a lot of places to park for 20 bucks.
I'll call them today and find out what their procedure is. Reminds me I need to work on new flag.
my order of 100 little four inch flags came in, I'm ready for July 4th.

Good morning, the low temperature is 58 and the high to 87°F. Wind WSW 5 to 10 mph. Zero Chance of precipitation. Partly cloudy.

About 9 A.M. today I will be going out to cut the front and possibly the back yard. The north field can grow.
Sometime around 11 or so we'll be making a dump/town run.
Two days of freedom left. Then back to the grind.:poop:

Have a good fishing trip Kyle!

Ron, the petal at the 2 o'clock position has an ant on it.

Have a safe day all
