50F showers heavy at times until day break Wednesday.

Work day was blur past quickly,after quick lunch headed outside with in 15mins sky open up so much for prepping 1 garden site.

This is my 3rd or 4th. My oldest sister died of colon cancer when she was my age.
I was on 3 yr schedule, now 5.

Overcast day and chilly.

I have had 6 of them. Now told that someone my age it is not recommended.

Successful trip to town - 8 stops.

Need to relook my temp gate post fix, not looking like it will last until I can weld it, likely Sat. Might have to get creative.

Either bad driver or drunk or on something. The same car almost sideswiped me earlier, then weaved all over the road, half way on shoulder at times, then started braking down to 40mph.

Productive day.... got 3 of the 6 planters filled, trees planted, and mulched. Wifey is very pleased with the results.
Tomorrow, the next 3 will get finished. If this was just 4 years ago, they would have all been done by noon.....

After the last 3 get planted, the next step will be to plant the "underplanting". That will be some bulbs and a couple of evergreens off to each side of the tree. Those will be super easy compared to the trees.

Perfect timing when we quit for the day....after I put the tools away, as I was walking back from the garden shed, it started to sprinkle.... lightly rained for about 45 minutes, putting an 1/8" in the gauge. Still have chances for couple more showers over the next few hours.

Dennis, glad the drain pipes are clear for a few more years. Hope you don't get any of Kilroy's surprises!

Fritz, glad PT done, take it easy doing the routine at home, don't push too hard.....

One very tired puppy

Managed to get out about 4 hours ago and been wandering. Of course I’ve been everywhere via the Mule, calling. Sophie says she saw as he hit the open gate and hit full speed coming down the drive like he recognized he found home. Of course she scolded him about the grass not always being greener. Whattaday!

Our state department daughter called. She is on a roll after having secured millions in funding and all the slackers are coming out of the woodwork wanting a piece of the pie for doing nothing. When she gets riled up watch out she takes no prisoners. She is sweet and helpful to a lot of people beyond her team and gets a lot of credit but incompetent supervision is now on her radar screen. And the thing about her is she documents the hell out of everything. When on the debate team in college and grad school she called mom often at midnight after a long day and debated with her and it would wake me up and I would go down to see what the argument was about. She was just using mom to improve her skills and sharpen her claws.

Good morning.
44 with a high of 50. Broken clouds with a chance of rain showers, but no significant weather.

Yesterday was largely a shop day, I did blow cherry blossoms off the driveway and out into the field to let the wind take them. Used a combination of the Makita hand held blower and the 11hp Littlle Wonder push blower. Had to air up the tires on the Little Wonder, they were low but not flat. It makes a huge difference in the amount of effort required to push it. But that was about the only outside chore.

Made a run to Staples for some 8-1/2 x 11 labels.

Just saw that I didn’t send this this morning, all that I’ve got to add is that the day was consumed with driving to the airport and back to fly to Allentown for an FAA checkride, which pretty much killed the day.
Got lunch at 4:00 at Mission BBQ, sat with a regional manager, and had a great conversation about BBQ and their operation.

Your Daughter will not be popular with most of her peers nor 'Supervisors'.... But She is popular with me as a Social Justice Warrior and documentarian. It's not CYA to document, but make change... Imagine a "world" where all your and all the other frequent fliers here daughters and sons make a + difference to the current status quo. I hope that I live long enough to see "something +" happen from all of the frequent flyers here's kids and grandkids
