Morning all, 61 going to 78 and mist
heavy rain last night.

Went into Princeton for the Jazz Fest, got there and the tents etc. were empty.
During the drive over they changed from "will go on even if it rains under the tents" To Delayed due to thunder.
Wandered around campus for an hour or so until it started to rain and then off to food shopping.

Be well,

Good Morning!!!! 46F @ 8:15AM in Morro Bay, CA. Some clouds this morning will give way to generally sunny skies for the afternoon. High 58F. Winds WNW at 10 to 20 mph.

Nice ride up the coast yesterday under blue skies, with the usual ocean haze off shore. A little windy, and it looks like more of the same for today.

Went to a favorite seafood restaurant for dinner, mmm mmm good as usual. Nice to get away. Was hoping for a third floor room at the motel, but the view wasn't bad from the second floor, either.

Morro Rock, where we'll probably hike today.

Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend...

Took the front grill off the husqvarna mower and removed the hood. Got battery on charger.
Removed plugs and turned blades, then remembered there’s a clutch and I’m not turning the engine. Put plugs back in.
Tried to start it, but it stops dead. Got a feeling the engine is toast.
If you haven't already, Pull the drive belt off. Electric Clutch may just be stuck.

76F and sunny @ 11:30, heading up to around 79F before the bottom drops out and the cold front and rain moves through later today.

Second cup of coffee tasting very good.

Woman announced earlier She was heading out back to start weeding on the flower bed before it gets totally out of control.

Daffodils have done well but are just past peak now and the blooms are starting to fade.

She reports the iris and peonies all seem to be doing well but no evidence of any tulips out there. Only thing I can figure is that the chipmunks tunneled underneath and got them from below.

Heading up to the shop shortly to get the other side of the electric motor painted. Hopefully it will be dry enough to handle.

Might start cutting some steel for the mobile base for the saw. Most of the steel I have is either undersized or oversized for this project, but I guess heavier is better right ? ... ;)

Will move some dry wood inside as well, just in case I'm up there over the next couple of days.

Beyond that plan to run over the barn and take the battery charger off the Cub. Might try jiggling some of the wires and see if that makes any difference as far as the fuel pump and starting goes.

Hope everyone is having a good Sunday ... (y)

You are doing an excellent job on your saw and it is looking very good, I would have liked to see CGB connectors used around your flexible cords.

Lou,

Thanks.

I used these for cord securement and strain relief at every point where the cords enter/exit the metal enclosure/cabinet housing the VFD:

It's not really apparent in the pictures I posted because they are on the outside of the cabinet ... and I just used threaded ---> socket adapters on the inside to give them something to screw into.

67°F and .03 inches rain.

Yesterday’s trip to town quite different than expected. Guess I should have checked time of the Merrie Monarch parade as we were there in the thick of it. Never seen so much traffic in town since we lived here. Home Depot was a success though. Lunch took a turn as for some unknown reason the Mexican restaurant wasn’t to open for 2 hours after we were there. Don’t know why. They lost a lot of business. So where to go? Anyplace more in town would either be jammed or parking a challenge. Opted to go out of town to the golf course. Great choice, except understaffed so long wait for anything. Food was excellent. 1st time there since pandemic. One of the local restaurants had taken over the service. Only disappointment I had to take 2nd choice for a beer.

Nice afternoon with friends even if we did get home later

Watched the awana (modern) hula competition. Even thru the awards, so after 1230 by the time I turned in.

Likely a slow day today.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

It’s good that you got back both the Gravely and your health!
Thanks. My first two chemo infusions were directly into my spine, didn't know they did that, but apparently speeds things up.
Sure worked for me, but a very unpleasant procedure, any of you who have had a spinal tap know the feeling.
It worked and immediately knocked out my rare adrenal cancer. Thank you modern medicine.

I was non compos mentis for the first three weeks.
Like a bad acid trip, and I've never tried that...
could not complete sentences, thought doc and nurse were the captain and first mate of our beautiful hospital sailboat, etc. ⛵
Most of you know I have an imagination, well let loose....my discussions with my family by phone apparently had them believing I would
be institutionalized forever. I had lost my marbles.
And then over a 24 hour period, all my marbles came back.
Delirium caused by inflamed adrenal glands, hormones seriously out of whack.
Doc came in beginning of June 2020 and asked me who are you?
I was back.

after going through that, not much can rock me. Life is good.

about 70 degrees out, very grey
I think the lawn grew a full inch today
will be mowing tomorrow for sure

You sure had a close call. It’s amazing what can be done to save a life when it all comes together at the right time.
