Good morning. Up WAY TOO early here. 3am now, been up for an hour. Some tax prep early then multiple outdoor jobs. Weather is cooler after our recent front, but headed back to the 70's then 80's. Too much sun today, wish it would be cloudy.

If you look at the photo pop gadget posted, it shouldn’t be too hard to take off the valve cover. . . But first I’d have to pull all the tin 🫤

I am going with the fence wire simply because I have fences, but I don’t have an airplane 🤣😂🤣😂🤣 we do live about 4 miles from the county airport, and pass it on our way to our woodlot - if the fence wire fails, I will stop in and see if I can cadge some from someone 😎👍

Drinking hot coffee. 29° with mostly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 40° with partly cloudy skies. Got snow blade on tractor and filled bird feeders before snow started yesterday. Looks like we got 6" of very heavy snow overnight. Lots of drifts. Had some thunder and lightning. Went to let Sassy out this morning. Door on porch would not open. Had to open window next to door and shovel snow away from door. A 3' drift had built up to door. Will be plowing snow for a while today.

Good Morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly…).

Currently a dead-even 50F, moon is big and clear in the window

We had a good dose of heavy rain and wind yesterday, today and tomorrow should be nice and clear. Projects are Subaru exhaust heat shield, top of chicken waterers and feeders, head up to the woodlot and run some barbed wire along the fenceposts we put in last week, clean up, head to mom’s to finish installing stuff on her laptop (like Eeison Mail and Brave Browser) so she can send taxes to accountant, then go to concert tonight. Have to figure on eating somewhere in There, too. . .

I hope everyone has a happy healthy safe restful blessed day!

yawn, yup, too early
rained all night, 1.07 on gauge, not as much as some of you got
Mostly you'll need all weather tires to get through those deep puddles... ;)

43 going up to 50 today, should be a nice weekend as we try to dry out here.
My day will be testing the water system in rv, going to hook up outside water again and make sure
there are no plumbing leaks and the hot water heater works.

having problems with some plumbing leaks in house, Popgadget will come and help me with the PEX fittings as soon as a
water valve comes in; currently listed as "running late" by Amazon. That sometimes means they lost it....I have two others that will work, but
the one I'm waiting for has a little twirly drain knob on it, so I can make sure all the water is out of pipe.
I remember as a kid having the job of finding those
little drain knobs on the outside faucets. Often they were corroded shut. So currently when I turn on the outside water I get a nice leak in the basement which a bucket
remedies. I also have a rebuild kit for the outside faucet which thankfully was a brand name Woodford with parts available.
Am trying to make a nice list of quick to-do's when Paul comes to help. By the time I'm done thinking about it, he's fixed it....

Ron, careful in the snow, chuck a snowball for me please

45 going to 61 and windy. Rain stopped, moon's out here, too.

Great teamwork on that oil cap. Hope it joins the team, too.

Mostly, only kidding about the term clean coffee...no cleaner taste in what I'm drinking right now....although it is a term for natural/organic foods.

Got a nice hike in early yesterday to beat the rain...only got a few sprinkles before I finished. Worked on MIL's taxes, nearly complete, and watched some episodes of Carnival Row with my wife.

A lot of early risers this morning, woke up at 4 stayed in bed till 4;30 came out to the living room and sat in the recliner for half an hour,
said the heck with it, out to the kitchen and made a cup of coffee, enjoyed that while watching out the window at the snow falling,
Can't tell how much because of considerable drifting but I'd guess at 4-6" so far. Got on the computer and started the second cup of coffee
and it's almost gone now.

Good morning, 38 going to 49 today. No rain in forecast for the next week
I have been waiting for dry weather to get back to moving soil.

Looks like a good day for a walk with Cody

Was on the phone with AT&T help desk last night for the dropped calls. The problem was not repeated with AT&T on the phone. Half an hour later the problem was back.

Good morning,

32° and snowing, heavy wet crap again about 6” so far. Unfortunately the winds are starting to pick up NE 15-25 mph. Snow should end around supper time, still calling for up to 14”. Piece of cake compared to what others are dealing with for weather around the country!

No real plans for the day, may do some early clean up, just see how things stack up.

@mostly - I did get most everything done except going to refill fuel cans, not enough empty to bother.

Enjoy your day everyone and stay safe 👍

/ Good morning!!!! #165,794
Thomas, slow and safe wins the day.
hope this is all I get, but....I see some snow in ten day.
likely wet heavy stuff that is really hard on the little flowers trying to come up

Forsythia is getting ready to bloom here, daffodils blooming in a few places, not here.
Mine are not well established and will take some time, but at least I see the daffodils coming back.
Not in the place where it flooded though. I think standing water rotted the bulbs.
But in a raised spot against rear of house, with lots of sun, they are thriving.
Tulips aka deer food also starting to pop up. 130 planted, wonder how many will survive

good morning update

Productive morning so far: filled chicken waterers, filled 2 wheelbarrows with chicken bedding they kicked outside the run and moved it to the compost, raked up 5 wheelbarrows of we leaves the chickens dislodged and the heavy rains pushed down the driveway and added to compost, cleaned out the barrel I was storing cabbages in (there were three left from November and they were quite funky - I need a better way to store cabbages (although when I chopped them with the machete, the inner 4-5 inches was still solid, so in a dire emergency…)). Quick break to offload ballast and then heading under Subaru with wires-n-pliers!

glad/sad to see I wasn’t the only one up so early today - but things are getting done!

Good morning! 38˚F, and with clear skies and a South wind we will be in the upper 70 this afternoon.

AC is out of warranty but my homeowners should keep the repair to $500, with the add on policy I forgot to take off after they rejected the water softener claim. I am so glad the A/C broke now instead of in August.

I got the dishwasher's house 20amp breaker changed out yesterday and the company will send me 20 new breakers, apparently there was issues with their generation 2 breakers, This was the 3rd bad breaker in my box in 4 years. It is apparent they know about the problem.

Progress is going backward on the improved garden area with late revisions we will have to move stepping stones because of more plants coming in. Nothing but clay and large rocks in the garden, each plant hole might take 2 days to hand chisel out and there are 14 new plants, glad it is cool spring weather.

Should be a busy day with seat time.

Good morning!!!! 44F @ 5:45AM. Windy with a steady rain this morning. Showers continuing this afternoon. High 51F. Winds S at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of rain 90%. Rainfall near a quarter of an inch. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph.
Rain is supposed to start by 10AM and will be with us throughout the 10-day. The wind is already here. March came in like a lamb, but is looking more like Mr. Hyde for a while.

I didn't have dye on the old roof, Chris, and I'm not going to settle for dye on the new one. Thanks for the thought anyway, though.:ROFLMAO:

No response from the insurance adjuster, but she always seems to call on Saturday.

Not sure I mentioned it, but your problem with AT&T, Frits, reminds me that my AT&T land line stopped working day before yesterday. Just went dead. Was working fine earlier in the morning, so I called 'em on the cell phone, got some robot thing on the other end, and eventually a response that their system was having problems and it'll be fixed by Monday at 6 PM. They said the same thing after the Camp Fire, and it took 6 months...

Got a Transit order sheet put together by a Ford dealer yesterday, asked for a couple changes, which he made, then found Ford wouldn't accept the order. He thiinks that doesn't sound right, and is still trying to find out why. But I've had four other dealers tell me the same thing, so I wasn't surprised. I've found a few vans on dealer lots I could make due with, and some DIY videos on installing aftermarket windows and other accessories, but I'd rather just get what I want from the factory. Not sure I want to wait until fall or next winter for it, though, as that probably means putting some time and money into the old Ford truck. Things could be worse.

Got an email that the cylinder heads are done for the old red bike, and they're on their way back. It will be nice to have all those parts back on the motorcycle and off the bench where they've been taking up so much space. It'll be even nicer to be out on the bike, but it'll have to stop raining first.

Hope everyone enjoys their weekend!

Good morning! Low of 24°, heading towards 53°. Tomorrow should hit 60°. Light winds today at 10-15 mph. Better than last night, wind was ripping and woke me up around 01:00. Not sure when they stopped. Barely a breeze now.
No precip in the forecast for 7 days...

Today's agenda will involve getting a good size grocery order.... and maybe a run to get some propane tanks filled. That should probably be about it.....

RNG, sorry about the ordering woes..... the local Ford commercials broadcast here were bragging about ordering: "your custom order can be placed and the order will get placed to the front of the dealer allocation" ..... they stopped saying that a few weeks ago..... I wonder if Ford got overwhelmed with orders and had to stop?

Everyone have a great day!

My buddy sure likes the ecoboost turbo engine. He says his will easily outpull a boat compared to his V8 5.0L naturally aspirated. The torque will give you ability to merge better into traffic.
