Pretty much energy conservation yesterday. Closest thing to an accomplishment was putting together some home made chicken soup from the remainder of the Costco rotisserie chicken - delicious

Something of an anniversary day yesterday. 30 years since my Army retirement 2-28-1993. Took me 27 years to get 20 years service. Could be I’m cheating the system a bit now

Got an unexpected call from my youngest brother to inform me our youngest sisters husband was killed in a freak accident, crushed by load on truck he was driving.

Off to Hilo this morning for Sophie’s ophthalmologist appointment. Hoping for good report.

I got gas today for 2.97 per gal. it is going down for a little while..

successful trip to motorhome garage, got new tires on front, balanced, a/c checked and valve extensions on rear.
I had to chuckle at their rate schedule:
110 hour light truck
120 hour heavy truck
150 hour motorhome...

had problems with Garmin rv cut out on me, had to use phone to get home, which believe it or not I've never used. Worked fine.
Got gps to work indoors after holding down power button for ten seconds. Will see if it cooperates in rv.

rv steers and drives better with new tires, worth the effort. They also did a front end lube job, which I didn't know it needed.
Most vehicles today don't seem to need lube service, glad they did it. Steering was smoother

51 outdoors in sun and clouds.

Knee dr says I have arthritis in knees and gave a prescription to help with inflammation and exercise to help knees. No nap today again .

Dang...sorry you have to deal with arthritis but far as exercise did you tell Dr. you pedel over 8.000 miles year.

Two days no nap...hmmm.

I'm still hoping for a 10 inch snow, and don't declare it's spring until I get all my winter choresfinished.

Come on up...late Friday into early Sunday weatherman saying 10 to 12" and I'll give all free snow you desire.

Short work day...Met Mrs. and had taxes done we owe Uncle Sam $979.00 1 critter food stop and dump run,able get in good couple hours seat time

Good (Thursday) morning. Overnight Low of 9C and it's presently 24.7C, clear and calm.

Paddock #6 chain-harrowed & mulched... just in time for the 'Mad Horse Agisting Woman's' daughter to arrive via the school bus (which drops off at the bottom of my driveway... how convenient).

I've noticed that one of the horses has figured out how to lift the bottom of the hay-net, getting at even more yummy hay but making a mess and going through the round at an accelerated pace. I'll, of course, pass this observation on.

Doing some dhobi today. Not much else on the card.

Good evening and happy 1st day of meteorological spring!

Quick cleanup of snow this morning, only 4” after the heavy wet stuff fell on of the the 5” of fluff. Was partly sunny and around 40° today. Had few flurries around supper time and some rain due tomorrow morning.

Did a dump run then stopped at town hall to license the dog but ran into an old coworker and chatted past closing time, oh well tomorrow is another day.

David sorry for the loss in your family, prayers sent.
