Successful trip to town. Successful in that we spent less money than usual Sophie got her meds, so begins another phase of life, osteoporosis.

Got the new dryer converted to propane. Disproportionate time (as always) working my less nimble fingers on too large hands screwing in things you can’t see while doing so in too cramped of space. Otherwise it went well. Found a very useful YouTube.

wow, hail storm just went through after very loud thunder, hail the size of dimes made everything white.

electrician just left, told the guy I liked him very much but could not afford to call him again.
50 bucks in parts, 1300 in labor for three hours work. That's ridiculous, I told him job was worth half that and he agreed.
But having waited three months for an electrician, just had to get this done. Needed a licensed electrician since he was making changes to
panel box. Next time I'll ask for work done on a hourly basis. Since when do single electricians with one truck get 400 an hour?

The guy we are going to use for our basement renovation charges $110 per hour. Canadian.

Alberta is going to get “Clipped” pretty good Thursday nite, with temperatures going down to -35°C (-31°F) in Calgary. Eeep!

Stove and dryer receptacles are pretty easy to hook up.

After lunch worked on leaf control. leaf drifts up to ankle deep mowed and sucked up. Did get nap in. No progress on truing rotor.
Ron hope you enjoyed time with neighbor while working in his woods. Se a lot of chase the tail here as well.

Coffee has finished brewing. 28° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 30° with periods of snow and ice. Weather Radar shows we are getting snow. But not a flake has fallen yet. Checked out neighbors burn pile a couple times yesterday. That was about it for the day. Have a couple of shop projects to work on while weather keeps me inside.
Got a photo of Female Pileated Woodpecker. More white and rounded head feathers. Need to clean the window I took picture thru.

Buckeye, hope cat did not get hurt when it fell. Maybe used one of it's 9 lives.

Good morning from Central Texas. 72 degrees at 4am! Wind is screaming here ruining my plan to spray in yard, yet again. It's somewhat a mystery why we do not have wind turbines around! I suppose averaged out there is not enough, but sure seems there is.
Legion meeting this morning. Hoping to skate off work and attend.

That's a two way street, Chris. There doesn't seem to be any way to tell what kind of people might be living in the houses around the one you're thinking of buying.

Living out in the country is no guarantee you won't have neighbor problems, either. I only have one neighbor, where I am now, but they're the only stinkers in the whole neighborhood.
