Just do this:
I found out it's easier to just put it on piece by piece than as a complete unit.
I tried the 'just screw it into the ground' storage idea.... NEVER again! I had to dismantle it anyway to get it hooked back up!

I have heard of hanging them from chains.... either on a tree or on a wooden frame, or rafters in a barn. I don't like keeping attachments outside.

That’s how I do it.

Good Morning
It’s 35 with a high around 40 by noon, and then starts downward. Overcast, but no rain, which is good, as we got 1.7” over the last couple days.

Yesterday was slow but steady. Grandson’s program was fun, my hat is off to teachers that can corral a group of 3 year olds and keep their attention. Got some cleaning and organizing done, but not enough. Might revisit that today. Moved battery tenders around to keep off season batteries ready for their next season. Got meatballs in the crockpot, had fun with the boys playing music, we fumbled our way through some Christmas songs and had a good time overall.

Today, I’ll keep an eye out for Drew, check out the recording of last night, it’s interesting that often when I listen back, the train wrecks were not as bad as they seemed at the time. We will see how it was this time.
I would like to tweak the sights on my Kimber Micro 9, they’re not adjustable except to push them in their dovetail, so we will see how that goes. Maybe take the little plane out for a ride later on of the sun comes out.
Other than that, I’ll know what happened today tomorrow.

Good morning! 43˚F heading to the mid 50s, cloudy this morning but sunny this afternoon. It might turn out to be a decent tractor day.

Picked my first batch of winter Kale from the garden yesterday and took up irrigation system so it would not get damaged this week during the hard freezes.
The beet red velvet cupcakes turned out good but the color is chocolate brown not red as the recipe says it would be.

We still have a 5% chance of a dusting of snow on Christmas Morning, but that is getting reduced each day we get closer.

If the yankees would not have all moved to Texas I think the "Farm" would close this week when temps drop to the teens. But Northern people do not know Texas etiquette. I will make stipulations in my "verbal" employment contract next year during the Christmas season that will cancel my shift when Temps drop below freezing. Too old to be cold. I guess this is karma for forgetting to turn the water heater back on.

My dad has a bunch of homemade bee boxes he no longer uses.
If you were a bit closer I’d be interested, but 8 hours each way is a bit much!

morning all, rain has finally stopped. Like walking on a muddy sponge out there.

Spent time driving kid and friends around, Doylestown, Newtown etc.,picked up wifes prescription, she may have sinus infection.

Have not been able to work on any projects, but slowly feeling better

Said goodbye to many coworkers who won't be returning next year :-(

CitiCrank can't figure out why when I login to site/app it asks me to activate "new" credit card. Can't see my activity and it proves that you can throw a lot of people into a call center, but you can't make them have experience. Will try again today to fix.

Wife got me a Scotch advent calendar, so I have something to look forward to each night.

Be well

Don, I'm convinced you can work outside in any weather if you have the right clothes. Although I remember watching some guys building a steel building in -17F degrees with a strong wind blowing. I was glad not to be up on the steel that day. I guess if you don't work you don't get payed.
