Good morning, the low temp is 29 and going to 32°F. Wind SE 6 mph. Flurries, another inch.

Yesterdays plowing took me from 11:30 til 15:00 hrs, mainly because of the 1/2 hours chin wag with each of three neighbours.
The V-plow will work better next winter after I re-skin it in Spring. I have two more old freezers to cut the tin off. I think I have a cutting edge in the scrap steel pile, that I got off a Township that I sprayed calcium chloride for many years ago. If not, I am on pretty good terms with the township I live in and maybe can get one of theirs or at least order one through them.

Not much going on today, maybe clean up my plowing mistakes here from yesterday, maybe leave them until the next time I plow. It is too early to tell.

Good evening all. 34ºF for the start, partly cloudy, light breeze. Light wind , partly cloudy sky, and high temp was 46ºF. Putter to start day, trip o town to grocery shop get meds, flu shot, and lunch. Got back too late to ride bike so took nap. Tomorrow morning waiting to 9 to start due to below freezing temp at 7.
Ted sorry about the missed UPS. Nice price for gas, to bad you have to drive back to town.
David good deal on solar output. If you get batteries fully charged, how much battery do you have left in the morning? Good to hear oil cooler swapped out. Good luck with doing the whole floor.

Helo that is some expensive gas. cost me $250 per year for two visits and teeth cleaning. Cavities cost more .

Did my annual Christmas shopping trip into town for my wife, then met her for a good lunch at a Tex-Mex. We later browsed around the nearby REI and then parted...she did more shopping, and I went to another store, where I picked up a couple of Christmas gifts for my chainsaw...new chain, new bar oil...bought the expensive synthetic stuff for the first time. Also found a new tape measure to give to my wife to put in my stocking. We no longer give each other gifts, but give each other surprises in huge stockings...and she always give me things to put in her stocking, so I thought I'd try that trick.

Had E muffin soon heading outside start snow clean up again,6"+ more since 4:30pm yesterday roofs walks driveway parking area going to get good cleaning and snow banks push w a y back,for Buppies saying storm coming end of next week.

Good morning all, 32 going to 40 today nice clear day.

Not much on the agenda today. Wait for a little warmer to do some walking this morning and also do PT for the shoulder to ease the shoulder pain. Seems like I make progress and then use it for some unexpected situation and break it up again. Need to be more careful. That is why I chose to have the van repaired rather than doing it myself. Pains me to pay for something I am very capable of doing.

Popgadget, nice auger, easy to mount and store for sure. If I need to dig a bunch of holes I will get one for the excavator allowing indexing and down pressure. In the meantime for the once in a while need it will do for now.
I have always used the principle of getting the tools needed to do it myself rather than paying for a repair but as I get older wife is counseling me to use more outside help

Good morning to my TBN buddies,
It is 44F here this morning under clear skys with forecasted high of 48, winds have dropped off to just a slight breeze.

Irrigation piping drained, not touching the system again until spring no matter when the parts come in. All garden hoses drained and put away. I think all my winter prep work is done and I am ready. We had a forecast of 5-6" of snow for next Thursday, but that seems to be falling apart and is going to end up as all rain.... then temps drop to the teens.

Better half headed out this morning to NC to see her son and grandson leaving me with a honey-do list. Will look at that after I have my coffee. She will be back sometime on Monday so I shouldn't have any issue finishing the list before she returns.

Spent more time cleaning up/sorting out the shop. Still haven't found the CD player, did find some tools I have been looking for for several months.

Best part of yesterday, signed the contracts to get my pole barn built!! Started working on this project last June, finally got plans finalized, permits done, site prep work done. Contracts with building contractor and material supplier done yesterday with work to start mid January. Barn will have an area to store/work on my boat in the winter. Will also have room for a wood working shop and an area for my auto lift, should be complete by the end of Feb.
