weather forecasts updated, quite a storm headed this way.
One to three inches of snow turning to rain through tomorrow, another inch of rain on top.
could be a whopper of a snow storm.

Phil, get ready....
Thomas too! I'm as ready as I can be.
Trying something new this time. I put the truck in the spare garage and the tractor in my bay. Hopefully won't have to shovel as much.
Wife is doing much better now that she is on meds. So far I have managed to avoid it!
Going out to the apartment house to make sure things are ready over there. Wish it was closer I would just take the tractor.
Hope everyone stays safe and healthy! (and dry from the storm)

64°F and .01 inches rain.

Yesterday was nicest day in a couple of weeks. I did get my Honda EU7000 fully serviced and new gas tank installed. A bit more challenging putting back together than taking apart. Let it purr about 4 hours putting slow charge back into my battery bank. Nice to see respectable level this morning. Hopefully a nice sunny day ahead gets us a full charge, something we haven’t seen in 18 days. Normal for me not to use a generator for a full charge, rather just keep bank in lower end of safe operations and wait for the sun to do its job.

Likely get the dogs area mowed then tackle main task of day, exchanging oil cooler in the LS. As I recall, that was a bit messy last time.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

anything having to do with British Leyland qualifies as a master's degree educaton in mechanics... You couldn't get a doctorate, as the requested doctoral thesis was either "solving the problems of Lucas Electrical Systems" or "On constructing the leak-free British automobile"...

Someones view on British auto problems back in the day

TR6 not so bad had a 1973 bought in 1974 until 2014. Only sold it too hard to get into

We used Logarithmic Tables for more accuracy when solving for complex formulas in design class. Keeping track of the decimal was the hardest part.
When starting work we used Fortran language to create economic models for evaluations of technical changes to systems. That required us to set up parameters and input it into punch cards that could be run on a big computer. The handheld calculators and PC's solved those problems.

Good morning to all! Low of 19°, up to 34° now, which should be the high also. No precip, just breezes at 10-15 mph, gusts to 25. Yesterday was windy all day.

Costco run was actually very good that early. Easy to park, no big crowd to fight in the aisles. Unfortunately, when we went to open a 2 lb block of cheese, it was totally covered with mold..... I can blame myself for not looking at it. Never had anything "bad" from Costco. Now it (I) have to go back. Wifey says "just throw it away"...... I am a man of principal..... it's going back!

I'll use the excuse that I have to go back into town to get a battery backup.... and just stop at Costco too. We lost power yesterday for about 45 minutes, no idea why. I was putting on my shoes to go get the generator out when it came back on. The pellet stove was running when the power went out. Had to reset everything again. Time for an UPS before the control board gets fried.

RNG, when I read your post to the wifey, she said 'yeah, I did find that it works for a few sites... but not many". I was hoping you found the fix for her..... The biggest issue is that the new printer (Cannon) we have isn't recognized by the 'puter. Can't get any drivers for the old OS /new printer.
She did find a work around --- the grandson's printer (Epson) works --- reluctantly, but prints.

Noticed something this morning out at the pond. I still had the fountain part running to prevent ice buildup. Well, the fountain formed an ice "cover" shaped like a mini volcano about 2 feet high. It's hollow in the center, the water still flowing inside! Never saw this before. Kind of neat to look at it.

I guess it's time to shut it down..... the birds will have to tough it out to get their drinks.

Not sure what else I'll get into today. I am confident that I can find something.

Everyone have a great day!

Drew, I’m probably indicative of your banking frustration.

My longest relationship, about 40 years, I’ve physically visited about a handful of times.

Second longest, 30 something, have never visited.

Local credit union, less than a handful per year last 5 years or so.

Basically, my financial life is online unless I need get cash or some function that can only be done in person.
