Good morning everyone

36° now high’s in the low 60’s and sunny today with light winds.

Not a lot going on but I did manage to bugger up my knee moving some tree limbs over the edge of the hill, slipped on some brush and twisted it a bit. Ice packs and light duty for awhile *”!#$. Oh well, certainly could be worse.

Prayers for those dealing with the aftermath of Ian and those waiting for its second landfall.

Helo, do you have a low tire. The low tire warning is on, on your display. What is the 90 inside the red circle? With 72% battery left what is your range? Yesterday I saw a Tesla like yours with the area between the tail lights smashed in but the tail lights were not broken and the lower bumper was not scratched. I could not figure out what hit him, or what he backed into.
Don, funny that you looked at the display and came up with such good questions...and I just looked up "Stay" by Bernard Butler on You Tube yesterday.

Good Morning
45 with a high of 60 with increasing clouds, rain late in the day.

Yesterday was a good day, went according to plan. Dr visit was fine, they were happy that I lost weight, BP was 120/65, no decline in lung function which was compromised in my motorcycle accident that collapsed both lungs. They drained some blood, we’ll see if I get a stern speaking to after it goes through the lab.

Trip to NH went well, we took the plane that had the engine failure back in April, all seems well with that.

Today I’ve got to get some clean up done in the shop. Customer is coming to pick up the speaker I finished last week around 10, after that I’ll go install the new carburetor heat cable that came yesterday. Not sure what will come after that.

Rear brake only. It is in the rules.

It is similar to speedway, but much larger tracks. Good riders actually do a lot of “braking” by sliding the front wheel going into a turn
Friend of mine raced an Ariel square four with side car on tracks like that

Good morning! 53˚F heading to only the mid 80s (I don't believe that), cloudless sky, light east wind.

If you look at my dusty tractor pic posted yesterday you will see a portable light trailer. They have rented out 20 of them, the farm will look like daytime. Mostly, I have found all three light switches on the Kubota.

Morning all, 49 going up to 65, getting chilly.
Heard back from almost everyone in Florida, so far most made it with just power outages and tree/shrub damage.

Mostly - what did they do to your wheel that it won't go on?

Sorry to hear about all the damage with FL people. Hope they can get their homes sealed up and fixed.

NHBX - sorry to hear about the knee

New Microwave is supposed to arrive today and today is pool closing. so that and day job will keep me busy.

When I came in the back sliding glass door, there were a number of deer in the back yard.
One got curious when it saw me go into the house and walked up to the back door to see where I disappeared to.
Stood there for a while staring, the doors are tinted so it could not see in too well, but I could see it.

Here she is watching me go in, pictures don't work through the door glass too well, so this is with the door still open, when I closed it she walked over to the cement edge to look for me.

54 going to 62. Rain from Ian is almost here. Wind and stormy clouds came in yesterday. Damage in Florida looks terrible. Prayers said.

Ken, hope you're better from your fall, and NHBX from your knee twist.

Nice floor plans, BEF. Looks like you've got a good grip on that S/W.

Went to Virginia Beach to visit my mom yesterday. She is still restricted from driving, so ran some chores and did her grocery shopping. I set up her medical alert system and we tested. Sure hope we don't have to use it.

Need to make a dump run this morning, hopefully before the rain gets here, and a few other outside chores...then will roast coffee.

What type of balancer
I had the cheap plastic version of what PJ showed, and also used a nail, but my blades always showed "in balance." So, I grew suspicious. The new balancer showed serious out of balance. I mow a lot, and am tough on blades, so decided to get serious...Not as nice as m7040's but same principle...

MAN! looking at the pictures seems like the supply of project boats just got a lot bigger. I predict that the price of building materials is going up.

45°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 74° today.

Stayed up too late playing around in the studio last night. My friend with the record store had asked me to throw a bass line on a song he's recording, and sent me a rough mix of it. I got the project set up a couple days ago, and finally got around to spending some time with it. Heavy/speed metal is not my normal genre, so trying to find something that works but isn't in the way of his busy guitar work was proving a bit challenging. Think I finally found an agreeable compromise. Didn't get to bed until almost 11:30. That 5am alarm was a bit rude this morning.

Nice sunset pic, BEF.

Good morning, gents.

I've always just used a screwdriver, wngsprd. I ordered the one from Amazon last night. Too cheap to spend $100 on one.

Good morning, the low was 43 and the high to 63°F. Wind S 3 mph. Sunny.

My cold is breaking up, thankfully. It came in quick and is going out just as quick. Thankfully.

I don't know why anyone would live in a state as hurricane prone as Florida, but they do. Good thoughts and well wishes for the people affected by that hurricane.

Stay safe all

The replacement of a ZT spindle is not cheap. On the Kubota 331 about 300 dollars I think. Rebuilt one with parts for 100 dollars or so. Keeping the blades balanced is good insurance

Neither has insurance.
That's a serious problem.
I learned my lesson the hard way.
I thought my house in Virginia was fully insured against fire, flood (though we are about 50' above nearest water level), storm damage etc. And my wife, the Lawyer, did also.

Then there was an earthquake on August 23, 2011. The earthquake was the third largest in the eastern US in the last 200 years. Collapsed a basement wall. Insurance wouldn't cover anything. Cost about 20K out of pocket for engineered approved repair.

Insurance company said it would only cost like $5/ month to have earthquake coverage added, which we did after the fact.

Also put earthquake insurance on our just bought houses in Mississippi, for like another $4/month.

GM all! TGIF
Going to 90º today. Better than 100 !
Hopefully the heat can settle down now. Waiting for my 220v outlet to cord adapter so I can weld in the barn instead of the garage. I'm just itching to get that rock bucket mod in action.
Comeon Amazon. lol. What did we do before internet and Amazon!? Hey there is a thread idea there.

Hope you all have a great day going into a great weekend.
