61 outside this AM, heading to low 80's.

Was a busy weekend.

More stress with the insurance claim. Contractors now threating to sue. Claim I breached contract. Ahh.....no communications for 5 months and no final proposal and no cash exchanged for ratifying contract. What the heck is wrong with people these days?

Anyway, will walk the lines of shame with the weedwacker today and go kill some grass with RoundUp. I think that is still legal for a while.

Hope all have a great day, good start to the work week. Be safe. Get healthy.

72°F and cloudy this morning, going up to 94° today. Voice on the radio said we might tie the record of 96° today, and probably break the old record of 97° for tomorrow. Mid- to upper-90s here through Wednesday, then a high of 70° for Thursday and Friday.

Been a long time since I've eaten Cream of Wheat, Mostly_. Always preferred that over oatmeal.
Now I want some.

Good morning, gents.

Good Morning!!!! 45F in Lakeview, Oregon. Mostly cloudy with occasional rain...mainly in the morning. High 64F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 90%.

We got two really nice weather days in Maupin, OR before rain came in for Saturday night. It stopped long enough to get packed up Sunday morning, but the camping stuff went into the baggage wet. We headed east and south to Lakeview, Oregon. It was cold enough that the grip heaters were on full blast, and I have a blister on one hand to show for it. Got rooms and soaked in a hot pool last night. Great dinner, too. Severe shock, though, when we learned that the Whistle Pig rye we toasted the trip's end with ran sixty bux a shot! 😳🤬 Rain started shortly after we arrived, and it looks to be hanging around here most of the day. We hope to miss most of it with a late departure, and I'll follow one of my buddies back to his place in Klamath Falls for tonight. I could make it home in five hours, but it would be mostly a wet ride, not my idea of a good time in the mountains. Time to take advantage of being retired.

Hope everyone's week gets off to a great start!

Good morning! 63 now, supposed to get to 76 later, had some rain and t’storms this morning. Some fall like weather predicted by the end of the week.

Nice weekend weather. Did a lot of just stuff all weekend. Did power up the race bike electrical system yesterday. Everything works as expected. Now to get the exhaust welded. My BIL usually is pretty quick.

Not sure what today will bring.

Everyone stay safe out there

Good morning, 70 now going to 80 nice day

Going up to Sabillasville to a vegetable grower to pick up green beans for Cody. He loves those for snacks and being low in carb and high in protein it is good for him. We drive up through the forrest near Camp David on a little used dirt road that is very scenic. When Camp David is in use the road is blocked off by the security people so we will see if open.
Did my morning walk and leg exercise and will eat brunch before going.
I am keeping my diet low on carbs to control diabetes and monitor it with bloodwork every 6 Months with A1c ranging between 5 to 7 for the last 20 years. Avoiding medication to control it is a good thing.
Also see a Retina specialist once a year to get my eyes checked for any diabetes related damage.
Today looks like a good day for the ZT to go to work on the lawn

This is what some of the oak trees look like after 7 years. Planted as small seedlings early spring and protected with tree shelters until 6 or so ft tall. They grow slow but will last a long a time.

68°F and .34 inches rain and raining.

Stayed up way too late watching the funeral. Think today will reflect that.

I do need to make a PO run.

Zoom Happy Hour this afternoon.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

BEF - glad you found a place, hope it works out great for you. Planning some new land camping trips soon?

First will need to get a driveway in, then power. Then who knows.
I’ll have to see if I’m allowed a temp power install. At least it’s right on the edge of the property.
