(One of them is 5/16 inch) to isolate the micron gauge from oil contamination when opening for the condenser to flow in the refrigerant The analog gauge set is not strictly req. …….
I am wondering about bending the line set down as it exits the wall. Being close to the wall may not be practical to use the bending tools and may have to form it by hand carefully to avoid kinks.

For 12k btu it likely has small OD lines, hopefully 1/4 and 3/8, both are pretty easily bent by hand. But it could be a good excuse to buy the Yellow Jacket bender with the outside adapter as well. Alloy Ratchet Tube Bender Kit - Yellow Jacket HVAC Supplies and Products

Are you using Slim Duct to bring it down the wall?

If you have the fittings and hoses, you can use your manifold to isolate the micron gauge.

No he wanted to expand the area he owns. He only cut cut down a small portion of it. It is the property closets to our house. It his right to do with it whatever he wants but we don't like it

I’m a firm believer in if it’s his property, it’s his choice. But….. the fact that he “asked” after the fact speaks volumes about future interactions.
I would still not alienate or antagonize him, that won’t help anything long term.
I would mention that I don’t like it, but respect his right to do as he pleases.

My new neighbor has decided to cut down all the trees and shrubs that created a privacy fence between us and then he texted me if it I would mind after he did it. What would you do? interesting in your suggestions?
Can't do or say much...neighbor might have positive plan you may like.

67°F and light rain this morning, rained off and on pretty much all day, and got up to 77° today.

We've had the same on and off light rain pretty much all weekend so far, and it looks to continue into the beginning of the week as well. It's all been very light, but we'll take it anyway.

Lots of inside stuff got done today ... and by that I mean that we took one of those epic naps today.

Happy (belated) Anniversary, Mostly_.

Good evening, gents.

I would love to watch and learn during an HVAC install. If I did a mini split it would be a MrCool as they come precharged.

Asking about the trees after the fact seems weird. But, if his trees, his business.

Good (Monday) morning. Overnight Low was 4C, it's mostly overcast with a chance of rain. Fairly calm but 'they' are calling for a Southerly wind later on. Presently it's 14.6C.

😄 Fell asleep in my 'comfy chair' shortly after tea (OK, and after a bottle of Tempranillo 🍷), waking up at 2320 and the fire had gone out in the woodheater. So I had to go with the electric heaters for the night.

Somewhat of a busy afternoon ahead; firstly I'll need to catch Penelope the Pussybeast and take her to the Vet's for her annual check-up and shot. Then take her home and head back into town to the Council Office to pay my Council Rates for the year... A$1,648.81.

That's about it for now, take care all.

Almost 50 posts since yesterday. Took awhile to read thru.
Yesterday I did clean out row of corn stalks next to green beans, and dug 1 row of potatoes on the other side.
We picked a large paper grocery bag of green beans yesterday, and canned 14 qts from them so far. Still have enough for at least 7 more quarts.
I got one side of shed finished.
IMG_6063.JPG

Other side needs 1 4x8 sheet replaced then the top pieces. They are painted and ready.
The wasp nest near that side had bees on it again after I sprayed it a couple weeks ago., so sprayed it good again.

Could not stream worship today. Power supply died on the computer. Dell did not list any replacements for that model. Ordered a new supposedly replacement one today from Amazon, hope it’s ok.

Large crowd at lunch, the Italian place is open again after their 2+ weeks away to Italy.

Paperwork & quicken stuff this afternoon, then evening worship. Outside lights at church were not on Wednesday night, turns out backup batteries in light timer had died, it lost programming. So I got that reprogrammed.

Wife wanted to can more beans tonight, but I reminded her they were not cleaned yet to do.

She said the cantaloupe we got in WV Friday is very good, I’ll have to get a piece. We usually have a bunch of our own, but plants died early this year.

Invited a young recently married couple over for lunch tomorrow. They are originally from southern Ohio. She does restoration of historical houses for NPS. He got a job on a turf farm, maintaining their equipment.

Found out more about the WV property development by going to the GIS site. The seller bought several of the lots, most of the prime ones in 1986 and sat on them. He bought around 35 acres of the development for around $30k. He’s got all of his on the market. One lot above the pear tree lot has a contract already. Most lots are 2-3 acres, I want the 2nd largest at 5.6 acres.
Looking at the county health dept septic rules, you can install septic system yourself if you take a test on the rules.
I sent note to health department asking if it ever had a perc.
Still puzzled about the tank, but my wife said it has to go if we get the lot. I said I’ll roll it down the hill into the pond below, then it will be a submarine.
Right now plans would be to cut in driveway, till and seed the center area (currently mostly weeds and some corn stubble). Then next year have well dug and septic installed, once I figure where I might build on it.
Then camp on it, build shed or small barn before eventually starting a cabin or house.
Where to place things is going thru my mind. Wish I had taken my drone. I want walkout basement, so best to be more on the right side. But that would create view of lot on that side.
Things to think about.
Wish my autocad still worked so I could get lot layout in CAD. Think I’ll buy turbocad.

I haven't used Turbo-Cad in almost 20 years. Used it quite a bit drawing up electrical panels years ago.
Always liked it, was easy to learn and use.

I had autocad. Then they locked it because they no longer supported it. I don’t want support, I just want to use the software I bought.

I had microstation before, bought it when I taught it as a college class. It was dos based. I still got the floppies. Thought about trying to install on a VM, but a lot of work.

Turbo cad has LTE version that is similar to autocad.
