Nice Dennis
Need to investigate how you get such a spread out view. Mine are much more compact.

That’s using the “find my” app. Just gotta zoom in, otherwise it’s just one blob on the screen.

61°
We got .39” rain overnight, I heard it once.

My tractor needs a good bath. Everything gathers a lot of dust parking in the barn, I guess when I blow out the barn with leaf blower it stirs all the dirt. I did hose off the top and front of the ranger yesterday. The dash is really dirty, but wasn’t sure I wanted to hose it off. I guess it’s ok, dealers leave them parked outside.

Morning all, 67 going to 84 and cloudy.
Went to Hard Rock Philly yesterday, first time, parking was....$32 for maybe 4 hours :-(
Got back and wife went off on me about something, who knows what I did this time.

Hope everyone had a good weekend,

Good Morning!!!! 72F @ 6:45AM. Plentiful sunshine. High 104F. Winds light and variable.
The Excessive Heat Watch is still on for tomorrow through Friday. Where do they come up with these names, anyway?

Loaded up the tractor bucket yesterday with the generator, GMA welder, propane tank, two 5 gallon buckets of water, a pair of shovels, and the impact hammer-drill, strapped everything down, and got it all up to the gate without losing anything. Welded over the cracks in the gate hinges, hopefully that'll hold forever. But I still need to install a stop post so the gate doesn't over rotate and bend/crack the hinges again. Only caught one small leaf on fire, but just to be safe, I dumped the two buckets of water on the closest grass and brush. Then went after the short trench with the impact gun, making short work out of an otherwise unpleasant job. Got everything unloaded and put away, then scooped up the dirt that came out of the hillside at the start of the big trench, and used it to finish filling in that part of the trench. By the time that was done, it was two o'clock and hotter than blazes, so I made a late lunch and found stuff to do inside for the rest of the afternoon.

I spied a piece of rectangular steel tubing in the junk pile that'll work for the gate stop, and I'll cut a piece out of an old motorcycle tire to pad it. That's always fun owing to the steel in the belts and beads, but that's how today will start. Maybe get to some wiring before it gets too hot again.

Hope everybody's week gets off to a good start...

Good morning to all! Low of 58°, going up to 82°. Cannot complain about the temps for sure! T-storm chances return Wednesday & Thursday, then again next weekend.

Must have had a senior moment yesterday.... the wife even asked me if I turned off the drip around 19:00 last night... I said "sure did". Well, I was doubling up and using 2 different supply faucets. Yeah, I turned off one.... totally forgot about the 2nd.... I did remember about 23:00 last night. Luckily, it was only 1 zone.... but that zone got a good 10 hour drink. I roughly calculated about 500 gals used over 12 shrubs.

We didn't get to trim the Olive trees, so first on the agenda for the day. Might get a chance to try out the new weed burner. Then try to get some dismantling of the jeep axle.

Mostly, yes, there are crush washers present.... they are a royal PIA. The torque required to set them is seemingly almost impossible to attain! It does get easier as it crushes down.

Drew, hope you get to finish the rail painting without aggravating the neck any more. Sounds like the weather will cooperate.

RNG, sorry to hear that the temps are so high.... tough to work outside in high temps. Portable A/C in the garage?

BEF, glad your dad is already enjoying his seat time. I can only wish I'll be on a tractor at his age! There's always hope right? Shed progress is looking good.

Kyle, glad you are settling in at work and they are somewhat cooperating to get new machines. Progressive lenses take a while to get used to... they definitely can mess with visual acuity/ spacial awareness.

Ken, I would wager that your son enjoyed playing the gig. Wow! Those parking prices are ridiculous!

Hope everyone has a great start to the week!

I got to work late, after having to take care of some paperwork this morning. Walked up to door at work and discovered I forgot my work badge. So I’m now working from home, picked up some lo mein on way home.
Wife left for Costco run and other stores.
Love trash day, another pile gone.

Glad PJ is enjoying the kayak.
