Good morning!!!!

Good (Monday) morning. Yet another Spring day in the middle of Winter, the overnight Low was, again, 10C and there was 2.5mm in the gauge @ 0900. It's currently 14C, calm and showery.

If the rain clears, and the Daughter of the Agister shows up, I'll fire up the tractor and put a round of hay out for them. No call yet from the couple who had a furniture donation for the Church Shed. Either way, I'm somewhat on 'standby'.

That's about it, take care all.

We had a Lahina Noon today, meaning at 1236 the sun was directly overhead.

Easy day, just a bit of cleanup, couple hours mowing. A short break before piano time, then kick back with a cold Porter.

probably got a little too much sun, drank lots of water
the Dog and I are just taking it easy now - i need a coffee at some point - maybe while i watch this morning's service online

Good evening.
Hot day today, reached 100, but humidity wasn’t awful at around 45%.

Last nights show went well, but not eating or drinking enough water was a tactical error. I had to take a break, eat some food and drink a couple quarts of water, to get through the load in. I must have ingested a gallon of water, and didn’t have to pee.
Also had to deal with a self inflicted issue during sound check.

Today I unloaded most of the stuff in the KubVan and put it away. Went out with my wife to an old friend’s for dinner, had a nice meal and visit. Temp was 100 on the drive there.

Put a few more things away when we got home, and then retired.

Good evening all. 78ºF for the start, clear sky, light breeze. Light to moderate wind with gusts, sky became partly cloudy, and high temp was 100ºF, HI 104ºF. Chapel to start day, made pancakes for breakfast. Conserve energy for rest of day except for nap, and did get front porch swept off while it was in shade.

82F and cloudy @ 23:30 @ CAK, HI 88F, DP 73F. Was rude out there today.

There's a line of thunderstorms stretching from Buffalo, NY to down around Lima, OH which are headed this way. Some more rain wouldn't hurt if it materializes.

Gathered up 4 tomato plants from around back that were in 5" pots and repotted them into 2 gallon containers.

Then I used the 5" square pots that I reclaimed from the tomatoes to repot the eggplants. There were 5 of those, so I had to use one odd round pot to complete that:

Also did three pepper plants that looked to be outgrowing their containers as well:

Peppers were all ones that had been nipped but managed to come back.

Woman got done early, was able to slide by the The Rib Man's before he was out and picked up a slab.

Had four of those when she got home (after stopping by the grocery to pick up some potatoes and a few other items) then headed up to the shop.

Finished trimming out the bad metal bottom of the operator station deck, hit it with the needle scaler to knock off the rust followed by the wire cup brush, then cleaned it with solvent and treated it with phosphoric acid to hopefully kill most of the rust.

Also got the hot roll sheet cut to fill in where I cut out the metal:

Just need to punch four holes in each of those then they can be plug-welded to tack them on and the edges can be welded up.

Once that's done they'll get pressure washed, then scuffed up and coated with truck bed liner spray, and will hopefully will be good for the remaining life of the tractor.

Had two more ribs and a baked potato while watching The Raconteurs and the Black Pumas on Austin City Limits (even better the second time) after I finished up and came back down to the house.

Hope everyone had a great day ... (y)
