68 and light rain...like most of yesterday and last night, but total under half an inch...still, very nice. 78 later.

Happy birthday to Jasmine...looks happy.

Thomas, never ate donkey (that I know of) but like you, have had a couple of burgers that could have been.

LS, congrats vs. The Pulley.

Mostly, hope cramps eased up...did you do the "mustard trick?"

Buppies, safe trip home.

Yesterday my wife realized she had run out of a prescription, and since it was raining, I decided to go with her to Costco...Saturday is not the best day to go, but lines moved quickly. Then went to a lunch spot for a calzone with tomato, spinach, artichoke and mushrooms...so good. Then finished the trip to town picking up some fresh produce, etc. at Wegman's. Nice day.

Buckeye, Ring cannot be adjusted, it's on a custom fixed mount I made.
Wngsprd, You cannot let cats wonder in the neighborhood however Gray2 was an escape artist, wink wink, and all the neighbors loved his country talent for catching mice. Just today's one neighbor said he really misses Gray2.

Had delays this morning, too much seat time, trimer ran out of string and then neighbor came over to talk which delay my mowing the back yard in the morning cool. I did finally finish at 11:AM but by then it was already 98˚F outside, arrgh.

Inside or pool for the rest of the day until Whipper's evening 100˚ walk. It's getting later and later, yesterday at 8:30pm it was still 101˚.

My first date with my wife was at Astroworld, but too much of ridding the Black Dragon, a ride that went round and individual buckets also went round then up and down made her sick and she started throwing up and had to go home early.
We did the pool thing in Brenham yesterday for a couple of hours. They have a nice huge umbrella covering a shallow end of the pool, with a gradually sloped walk in area. Wore my hat and a solar guard long sleeve shirt.

Astroworld, loved that place. My mom took me the first year it was open 1967 or 68? Then when I stayed with my cousins in Almeda (no, I never took anything from Pyburn's), we would go weekly. Dropped off with sack lunches and picked up around 9 pm, we were happy teenagers. My cousin worked a summer there on the Dexter Freebish Electric Roller line.

I recall an ice rink in Austin in a shopping center. Where was the one you went to? Never was much of an ice skater but it was cool in there on a hot day. The Galleria rink in Houston was a favorite of my kids back in the day.
This was in College Station. They've had a nice hockey rink for at least a decade, maybe 15 years? It's still in nice condition. I avoid Austin like the plague if I can.

Great day on beach wind got up we really enjoyed maybe one more shot in the morning then back home. I think I’m getting near the end of working full time at almost 69 time I think
Enjoy your vacation. I understand your thinking. Would there be a chance for a "gold hat" position, where you could stay in a conditioned vehicle and supervise?
I'm guessing you have an annual trip around the sun coming up?

LS, desert or dessert? LOL.

Hope and prayers for our team.

I may have to back off reading the daily endeavors for a while. I have too much to learn at work and need to focus more. I need to learn a new wire edm machine, Mitutoyo CMM's, Omax Waterjet cutter programming and operation, Renishaw AM 400 laser 3D metal sintering printing machine, Fusion 360 autocad, repair a bunch of equipment, responsible for all the beginners safety, and much, much more. My head is spinning. Pray for me.

57° right now...high in the upper 70's...

Woke up around 0230-0300...had a heck of a time getting back to sleep (around 0500-0530). Posting late today and still a bit woozy from interrupted sleep. Probably back to bed for a while and do the weed trimming in the afternoon...chipping too

Interesting article, nice video

Good morning to all! Low of 54°, heading up to near 90° again. Just watched our local new's forecast..... totally changed --- now a very slight chance of T-storms today. But, instead of the T-storm Icon being on every day this coming week, it's only showing on Tuesday now....

I'm glad that I've been turning on the drip irrigation.... getting dry and hotter again. On the brighter side, at least the weeds won't be growing as fast!

Kyle, just to clarify, .... We had dessert while living in the desert.... o_O:ROFLMAO:
Sorry to hear of your increased work load, lots of learning....

Drew, hope you can get the steering wheel adapter working, at least able to get the correct one. Good luck at Meeting today, hopefully others will also see the historical value of the document.

Buppies, have a safe trip home. I think you are going to miss the beach.....

Happy birthday to Jasmine!

I better finish my coffee and get out to do the trimming.... it's up to 72° already.

Everyone have a great day!

Good morning! 74 now, going to 85 or so today. Yesterday’s weather was nice.

Bent the extension pole for the pole saw Last weekend. Not sure how. Replacement showed up yesterday, so may be trimming some more damaged branches today. Plenty to choose from.

Had a dilemma with the way some things were fitting in the “utility” compartment in the trailer. While riding the bike to the cheese house, a simple solution popped into my head. Took longer to drag the tools out to the trailer than to make the fix. I am officially out of needed materials, so either a Lowe’s or Menards run is in the cards.

Went for Chinese last night, then to the local brewery for the band. Band was quite good. Big crowd. And ran into a lot of people we knew. Good time.

Wife is selling 8 Appleyard ducks today, buyer is supposed to be here after lunch. Not sure what else gonna happen today.

Everyone stay safe out there!
