Gain any major insights, Dennis?

I spend too much. Didn’t need quicken to figure that out though.

I went ahead and categorized the remaining 1200+ that were under miscellaneous. I have cleaned up all years back to 1999 now.

I still assume untracked cash is food. I think I’ll pull that out to an untracked cash category.

Stuff sure has gotten more expensive lately. Might have to stop feeding the neighbors cats. . Gray looks worried.

Mostly, it means I’m tired of working on cleaning out the shed.

Today I dumped out a box that had some 6” duct work in it. Couple 90s, a tee, couple register ends. Mice had one 90 stuffed full of crap. It was rusted thru the side from their pee. It’s all going to the dump. Right now it’s laying outside. Several snake skins in the box also.

I bagged some old insulation pieces the mice made a mess of.

Pile of wood to come out.
I think I’ll pile some unused shingles and the wood on a pallet and put in the barn for now.

Good morning, low temperature is 32 and the high going to 45°F. Wind SE 16 gusting to 25 mph. Freezing rain.

As the temperature goes up the FR will change to straight rain. Better for me. My steel roof will be unloading today, sometime. There is only about a foot of snow on it.

I might get the tooth bar off the loader bucket today. That is a chore by itself. It has been on the bucket for twelve years.

Have a safe day all

63 and windy, going to 78. Temp climbed 4 degrees overnight. Really dry outside now.

Split firewood, and then did a good bit of pruning with the pole saw and loppers yesterday...grapple has been working harder than me...16 loads this week. Filled one brush pile, started on another. More to do, but with winds up to 31 today, and a sore body, will just make a dump run and go hiking.

Good morning! 68˚F heading to the upper 70s. This almost summer weather will come to a halt tonight as a cold front pushes through, 40s tomorrow. Another cold front hitting Friday dropping temps to the freezing mark. If my potatoes pop up I'll cover with hay.
Spent some time yesterday helping my SIG leader in the garden club rebuild work tables for the greenhouse SIG.

I need to find someone to replace the weather stripping on my front door. It is a very heavy 3'x8' wood and glass door. yesterday when my wife opened the door the weather stripping came partially undone at the bottom and drug as the door opened in. It resembling a snake crawling into the house. She almost had a heart attack.

63° for a LOW here this morning, going for the 70s. Don, I gave that new battery for the EGO mower a good workout yesterday, lowered the mower to next to the lowest setting possible and bagged another half dozen or so bags of clippings. That's more than 15 bags for the garbage men tomorrow. They're not required to take more than 10, so we'll see what happens. They are big bags and full, but perhaps lighter weight than usual because it's been so dry here. I went to Home Depot yesterday and bought more contractor bags AND I bought a big bag of Scott's Turf Builder. I even briefly considered applying it this morning, but as you said, more cold weather coming, so I'll wait.

Good morning all. Despite a being bit chilly in the wind, the sun is doing it's utmost to get us in the mood for spring.

Neighbour's fields and our pond was covered with many hundreds of gulls this morning. Don't think anyone is ploughing or spreading at the moment, but something has attracted them these last few days. They ignored me completely then took to the air when a pair of Canada geese dropped out of the air to land with an almighty splash.

Ken, I don't envy you felling ash when there is a lot of deadwood up top - but I do envy the firewood

Kyle, you have jails for sheep ! Ours are often wayward, even so, wouldn't want to see them behind bars (baaaas?) :)

Tornado's southwest of me yesterday. Seven killed, near Des Moines. Fog, lightning, heavy rain, then wind here. No twisters nearby, thankfully. 60's yesterday, mid 20's and clear Iowa sky, this morning. Hopefully, I'll finish up the rest of the new window trim, before the hockey game.

Good morning! 54 now, predicted to be 71 later. It rained early this morning. Looks like that might be it for today.

Yesterday was amazing. High near 70. Got the yard clean up started. Had a couple of trees down, those are cut up and are on the way to being firewood. Smaller stuff is stacked to dry, larger stuff is off the ground in the trailer drying and waiting to be split.

Yesterday was the first time I really used the hitch hauler on the tractor as a “carry all”. Worked quite well hauling saws and supplies and hauling wood. My wife was using the garden tractor and cart, so made quick work of moving wood. Even used it to haul food and cracked corn to the barn.

The birds got to spend most of the day outside. Oscar the Friendly Goose followed us around most of the day. He was in the middle of cutting/loading wood. Then hung around later before supper.

Not sure what today will bring. Plenty to get into.

Everyone stay safe out there!
