Slept in after a 6 am bathroom break.
Ran my son in town for a haircut.
Got truck emissions inspected, they didn’t charge the late fee this time, but never refunded the other one.
Then disposed of about 10 more gallons of old oil at the recycling center. They have 5 gal limit, but if no one there I keep going. Still got 5 gallons in the shed to go, wished I had put them in the truck.
Grabbed Chinese for lunch.
Need to get out and work on cleaning more of the shed. Got an old metal shelf unit about ready to get moved to the barn.
Only saw 1 skunk today, already skinned.

Ken, isn't that the place on 202 with the big containers out front? Always with signs like just imported from France or whatever?
Big enough for a good sized dinosaur...
another hour and a half zoom for church over. There is a real feeling of relief that we can now focus on something other than alligators.
I have a big zoom meeting Wed night with all of the committee clerks, already told them all this is not a discussion of alligators.
Couple of big positions left unfilled, constant challenge, made worse when so many folks retreated into an emotional shell when the big toothy
critters came. It's really fun being positive for once. So much fear and depression to leave behind...for some this is coming out of two years of nuclear winter.
Sun feels pretty good.

A lot of people filled their personal swamp with so many imaginary alligators that it kept them from enjoying life in the real world. It's good to know that they are finally breaking free of the self-imposed swamp life and rejoining those of us in the normal world who never went to the swamp.

Just settling in after a 4 hour snowmobile ride. Newark to Island Pond and spaces in between. Hope this isn't the end of the season, snowfall hasn't been the greatest the last few years. 8+/- " of fluffy powder on top of ice wasn''t the ride I was hoping for, but sunny and warm 14* with mountain views all around, can't ask for much more...
