Good evening all. 45ºF for the start, with temps falling, and .2 inch in rain gauge, overcast, windy. windy till sunset, overcast till sunset and temp quit falling at noon, at 33F. High temp was at midnight 62ºF, and low forecast at 11:59PM is 29ºF. Dew point has been close to temp all day. Started fire in insert, and puttered till after lunch, did stationary trainer ride and nap. Took Wife to diner and grocery shopping in town then fish club meeting.
Dennis I just ordered mine, did not get a firm date, just a blurb saying they are behind !!
Doug sorry about your mower, yes if it shakes you the bearing life will be much shorter. What do you do with snakes?

Lol, my job in early to mid 90s was creating web based interfaces for people to get out of the paper forms era. People fought it tooth and nail. Ironic I spent my evening filling out a bunch of paper forms.

Mostly, I got the snake to curl around a long stick and took it acrooss the road and let it go. Little pythons don't worry me but the 15 footers do. I worry for my little dogs.

Good morning, low temp -1 and the high to 5°F. Wind N 17 gusting to 31 mph. A mix of sun and cloud for today.

Tonight we will probably get 2-4" on top of the 2" we got overnight. Snow in the forecast for the rest of the week and into next week. Somehow I think I will get lots of seat time starting this morning.
I say bring it on! I have 150 gallons of oil in the tank and the tractor is 3/4 full.

Gas yesterday was $1.729/L or $6.54/US gallon. Getting up there. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is going to tax himself right out of his ivory tower, if he hasn't already.

I heard from one of the neighbours that is right into guns (has his Restricted permit) that there was a kid in Toronto that got caught with 5 FN-FALs. They will get chopped up.
IF they are truly FNs then that is a crying shame.

55° right now...dropping to 45° as today's high, then down to 8° tonight. Raining here now...supposed to be some freezing rain mixed in. Well, I'm not going anywhere today, neither is stepdaughter.
Dump is closed until next week, no explanation other than "circumstances beyond our control..."

On my inspection sticker renewal notice came with the two step web site. I entered my license plate number and the last 4 of VIN and all of the info came up as was on the renewal notice. Also was $1 less by doing it on-line. It might be county specific.
I had the amount less $2 taken out by my county VEHRES and then the $2 state processing fee taken out as TX.GOV*SERVICEFEE-DIR

Looks like everything is the same EXCEPT ???? I'm guessing Denton County is using a private company to process these this year. Anyway, I printed out everything as I went and it says I'll be getting the renewal sticker.

Warm morning with rain driving against windows woke me up, quite a front went through and more to come
I think a lot of us will be looking outside when the sun comes up to see what is on our lawns.

I did sleep very well last night, thank you Mostly. Now a quiet day of doing laundry and cleaning the house while temps drop all day to 30's this afternoon.
Meeting at church later this afternoon to discuss new signage. Local police did a security study for us two years ago asking us to put signs up so that incoming EMT
or police/fire could easily tell which building is which. We've been there 300 years so not like church has moved...but we do have a separate nursery school building and small social hall
and I think that's their concern. I suggested we meet this morning before temps dropped but other's couldn't.

A set screw fell out of the tightening nut on my FEL (grapple control) handle. Anybody know the best way to determine the right replacement size?
