Rich, I've got it adjusted all the way up. My problem in addition to truly abusing this expensive snow blower by ingesting so many rocks is that the rock size is almost identical
to the clearance between the auger and the chute. Popgadget came over last winter and helped me bend it back once.
I once had a Ford gasoline garden tractor with a front snowblower, used on pavement, many years ago. Then my Gravely garden tractor with a front mount blower.
That ate everything but the Sunday Times. Sunday paper jammed it really well. Had a small electric powered shovel too. And an electric small snowblower. So have tried a bunch
of different types. Big gravel is like feeding chicken bones to your dog. It isn't going to end well.
But we can get a foot of wet snow here so I need something with more oomph than me for that stuff.
