Now it's back to 4-9 inches.
reminds me, need to go start the gen and let it run a little. Want to see how it runs in 20 degree weather with
40 pound bottle.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow is expected to begin Friday evening in
Delmarva and southern New Jersey, spreading northward overnight
into Saturday morning. Snow may be heavy at times through early
afternoon before diminishing late in the day. Winds may generate
areas of blowing snow and low visibilities at times. The storm
total snow forecast remains very uncertain, so stay tuned

25°F and light snow this morning, going up to 43° today. Snow got a little heavy during the morning drive while passing through Troy IL. US-40 was starting to get covered there. Let up after I got on the interstate and got further west.

Glad to see Mostly_ made his way back here. Hope Ron does as well.

PJ, drive safely and avoid those who just don't know their own limitations...

am off downtown to CVS and supermarket. Can't buy too much food since getting a new fridge tomorrow.

Good morning! 37˚F heading to the upper 50s, cloudy. Wind today from the West, then North then East.

The big news today from Texas is that the new Tesla Giga factory is producing the model Y already and will soon be rolling out the new Tesla Cyber Truck.
Elon is already driving one around central Texas and I will keep a lookout for him.
I'm still looking for news of the giga factory's open house that was promised by Elon.
I'm seeing Teslas every day around here and there are two in the neighborhood.
Our sub neighborhood (the 5 streets around me, there are 90 sub neighborhoods here) has canceled the woman's hand and foot cards this week because of of . . .of . . . alligators. May have to call Christy to capture them. There is also a new alligator loose that looks like a singing group that sang "Dancing Queen". - is there a detective Buckeye in the house.
Don, is alligator the new code word for you know what?

I thought Christy got out of the gator business? We like watching Lone Star Law on Animal Planet...those Game Wardens catch a lot of gators and a lot of other things.

My preference after wearing all the fancy two piece super duper long underwear back in my working outdoors in all conditions
ended up being the one piece longhandles either the fancy knitt ones or the old red cotton ones depending on the temps.
To much bending over and kneeling down the two piece always separated in the back.

Good morning to all! Low of 18, high up to 40. There is another chance for a light dusting of snow tonight.... Lows are going to drop to 10 the next couple of nights.

Roy, I apologize..... I typed "Roy" instead of "Ron". At least you caught the mistake.... it took me a day to figure it out!🤣

Ron, please come back....

Yesterday, there must have been a flight path change..... the house kept getting vibrated by Ospreys flying over. Must have been 10 throughout the day. Odd looking plane with those big props.

Not sure what I will get into today, another "honey-do" project got added to the list.... converting a sofa hassock into a 'storage' hassock. The whole base is hollow so would make a nice space for blanket storage. Just need to add a wood bottom and a hinged wood lid (the cushion will still go on the lid). I might get started on it today..... maybe....

Everyone have a great day!

63°F and no rain

My rescheduled haircut this morning. Stop at PO. Some of my stuff has arrived, but not all.

Back in the caretaker, chipping away. Just amazing how these little 10 minute tasks always take at least 2 hours. Maybe I’m losing touch with reality.

Sure hope none of you guys leave GM, you’d be solely missed and no way I could fill the void.

Glad you had a safe and nice trip Drew. Cross country Amtrak next year?

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

I prefer fleeced lined trousers...
I have a couple pair if flannel and one pair of fleece lined trousers, pants, jeans.....whatever. There are nice when it gets down to the 20's or below. I would expect they are essential for the temps you get.

With the Carhartt long johns being nearly $50 I think the limited seasonal use might not justify them. But, some wear them year 'round I think.

Wngsprd, yes. Christy did get out of the alligator business but it's not like she would need a lot of equipment to get back in - 1 roll of duct tape, preferably pink.

Our Garden club has reached out to the the Special Interest plant based group and has requested help with the 5 functions a year that require food from brunch to lunch. I can help with that.
We had a "vegan" show up on the Facebook page and properly dismissed her. The focus and priority of this group is health not animal rights.

You guys are making me feel like a lightweight, wearing LLBean flannel lined jeans in 60sF temps. But they're very comfortable, so why not? 👍
They are so comfortable more and more pants are available flannel or fleece lined. I saw some pretty nice khaki pants the other day that were lined. Might have to get a pair of those.

12 this morning, 39 now. Recent forecast has us in 6”-10” tomorrow night into Saturday and down to 8°-10° Saturday night. We just now got a winter storm warning, up from a watch earlier.
I’m prepping just in case. I have the tractor in the closest garage, I’ll fill it with diesel and plug in the block heater by tomorrow night. I hope it’s for nothing.

they are saying 4 to 10 inches of snow here so they really don't know, going to be a wait and see
meanwhile looking through Burpee catalog at perennials to plant in Spring.
