Will you also get the booster or a full dose 4th jab? How is it determined if you need a fourth dose?

“Out of the 11 million immunocompromised people in this country, some of them were fine with two doses,” Segev said. “Some of them were not fine with three doses. Some of them do need a fourth dose.”
This whole thing is BS

leaves blown and bagged, mower washed, blown and put away, and now I hope
an afternoon to do as little as possible. Pretty cloudy out but sun peeps out every once in a while.

my favorite hunter story is a tenant we had on our farm for a few years who considered himself the mighty hunter.
Even though we banned hunting after my father dug a slug out of the front of our old stone home, we let the tenant hunt
when we were sure no one else would be in the 70 acres of woods. We were out checking the proverbial South 40 which in our case was the South 10, and here
we find his tree stand. And directly under the tree stand was a block of salt. He would wait until they would come underneath them and dispatch them with a shot from at most 20 feet away.
I think he at least gave the meat away to charity. I thought in some jurisdictions you couldn't use salt blocks as bait but just don't know. What about corn?

I have the same question; without a test for antibody levels how can they tell?
I've had three full Moderna shots and have no intentions of getting any more until next Fall.
Ultimately I'm still guessing if I'm protected without some form of test to determine immunity.

C'mon Roy, let's have some fun.
Let's get an IV drip and we can be vaccinated continuously.
Poles are pain to push around but hey, daily vaccines?
I bet you some one would sign up...

54F, cloudy, and damp @ 11:45, headed up to a high of 60F for the day. Possibility of showers later towards evening. Nearest local station shows nothing so far today for precip but 0.72" for yesterday and 0.21" for the day before that. There are puddles of standing water in the yard.

Rain will be ending today, and then the WU Ten Day shows a long period with low chances of precip ... that does not jive with the local weather guessers. Will be interesting to see who comes closer to being correct. Forecast shows freezing low temps due next Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Refilled hopper feeder yesterday afternoon. Lots of activity out at feeders now, including a red-bellied woodpecker. Some sort of woodpecker hitting the cedar siding outside right now.

Appears that the large Japanese yew at the southeast corner of the house is popular spot to roost.

UPS delivered the 3rd order from Holland about an hour ago. Still have one left to go from them (peonies, Orenipet lilies, and the rest of the irises) This one is mostly just more bulbs ... but there are 7 new day lilies in it as well ... so I'll be needing to get those in the ground asap.

Sun making an attempt to shine through the clouds right now.

Got the furnace filter cleaned yesterday, it had been months since it had been cleaned and it was pretty dirty. Hopefully it is dry by now so I can reinstall it today. Need to set a monthly reminder to clean it on my calendar.

Squeak out in garage on safari.

Since it's going to be relatively warm today, I may work on getting some more plants in the ground.

Hope everyone has an enjoyable, productive, and safe Saturday ... (y)

64°F and no rain.
Pleased to report my baseboard is installed and I’m pleased with it.

Bathroom floor is prepped, ready for sealer. One coat this morning, 2nd this afternoon.
In between, need to replace belt on Scag. Beginning to think these Kevlar belts don’t have the life of the old fashioned non Kevlar.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Good morning! I win, I win! I have the lowest low and the highest high Temps for the day. 39˚F heading to 80. (edit: OK Bird just beat my low)

Easy come, easy go ... ;)

In the news today: The last case of human rabies in Texas was in 2009, until now. A child in Medina County TX is being treated for rabies after being bitten by a bat. - got me thinking about RS's wife, hope she is doing OK.

She seems to be doing fine, back out there at it today.

Hope someone besides the owners are keeping tabs on the dog.

I will be following up on that come Monday with a call to the county health department and/or dog warden to ensure that someone will be checking on the dog's condition ... and getting back to us on what it is.

Ten day quarantine will not be reached until mid Wednesday, so I'm not expecting/hoping to hear anything before then.

The good news is that in the United States no one has ever contracted rabies from a dog (or cat or ferret) that has been held in quarantine for ten days ... so it appears the risk is pretty low (but not zero)

Same here.

Hunting deer over bait is legal here in Ohio ... except on public lands and in areas designated as Disease Surveillance Areas (for chronic wasting disease or CWD) Currently that is all of Wyandot county and parts of adjacent Marion and Hardin counties.

Previous Disease Surveillance Areas in Holmes and Tuscarawas counties have been discontinued.

Statewide bag limit is 6 - with only one being antlered, county bag limit in my county is 4.
