Here's a good report that says to only use white sugar when feeding hummingbirds. Plain white sugar in water.

Amazing Nature & Wildlife : This is a hummingbird unable to retract her tongue, which is a sign of fungal spores that have germinated on her tongue or in her gullet caused by folks mixing honey or anything other than plain white sugar with water

That’s all we’ve ever used.

Good morning all and happy first day of May.
Temps sure dropped last night, about 40 out now, going up to mid/high 60's in sun today.
At least no need for a/c today...or trips to the basement to cool off.

I see one of my flower pots in the middle of the lawn, there were four on top of the picnic table and one
was blown off in the wind. Will have to repot this morning.

haven't had any tylenol in a day, shoulder pretty sore but perhaps slowly improving. At least no stabbing pain anymore.
But still can't pick up arm which is worrisome. or if I try it hurts so much I have to stop. Just not going to push it this first week.

Toppop, how are you feeling this morning?

I’m a little medicine groggy but they are winding down, a couple of them are hard on the digestive tract. Stamina isn’t there yet. Thanks for asking.

Been up since 2 am. Probably will sleep today.
Wind finally died down.

46 and still quite gusty, 67 today then 84 tomorrow and near 90 by Tuesday.

It was blowing so hard yesterday that the covers on all the deck furniture and grill/smoker looked like air dancers.

38F gusty winds at times chance couple showers this morning afternoon more clouds than sun.

Welcome May hope this month offers more t shirt weather.

Outside chores done E muffin time.
2 days of rain brooks streams barley risen notice some places standing water in fields lawn,need more wet before June.

Plans for today...dump run,clean rake feeding area,putter and more puttering.
