50 right now...drizzle and foggy outside...slow drive in today, I think. High in the upper 50's and rain all day (I hope!). Looking at the 10 day forecast, looks like rain most of next week...sounds good to me!

Happy Anniversary, Bird...56 years and I hope you and wifey have many more!!

good morning all
looks like a wet and windy day with high winds on friday
Better night last night, was able to transition to plain tylenol and it worked.
Headed to primary doc this morning, will get them to change the dressing.
wound beginning to itch, likely due to openings beginning to heal

I told the doc I needed a mri on other shoulder next, as it has been twingy at times.
And now that I know what is likely to happen, not going to procrastinate.

inside of house went up to 85 yesterday, almost left and went to brothers to get in a/c but stuck it out
with fans. Went down to basement with a folding chair and read my book for an hour there and that cooled me off
Electrician comes tomorrow to put in new service, hvac guy comes next week. And not a day too soon either after yesterday.
Sweating and hurting is not a good combo...but I think I will make progress on both counts soon.

Stepbrother picking me up in his Tesla 3 and taking me to doc appt. I'm very curious what it will ride like. He loves it, had a slow
Prius before and Tesla is like a rocket sled in comparison.

Margaret and I appreciate all the good anniversary wishes from everyone.

LS, passing out and falling like that is scary to say the least; hope it won't happen again.

And our insurance adjuster/inspector is scheduled to be here about 8:30 a.m. to see if he agrees that we need a new roof, and the rain is currently pouring down at 4:30 a.m. And there's now rain in the forecast every day for the next week or so, so I don't expect to see him for quite some time.

Good morning, low temp is 41 and the high will be 57°F. Wind calm. A mix of sun and cloud.

I called the gravel guy yesterday at 6 P.M., looking for my gravel. He was kind enough to return the call and said it would be here between 9 and 9:30 today. I'll go out at 8:45 and get the tractor warmed up. I would switch to another supplier, but there isn't one. The dump run is going to have to wait until Saturday, as Friday is the monthly trip to North Bay, shopping.

I called the house insurance guy yesterday and told him about the new wood furnace. I also told him that I knew that ANY modifications/changes to the house they had to be told of them or if a claim happened, the insurance company would use that to weasle out of the claim. Especially when it comes to wood heat.

DIL still has one foot on a banana peel and the other in the grave. One day at a time.
Once upon a time I knew an old woman who was given 6 months to live. She was living at her sons' place and 15 years later she died. She wasn't bedridden and helped in the garden and with the canning in fall. They canned almost everything they ate in winter. The canning was a community effort, the guys did the heavy lifting and I got the job of pitting cherries and peeling and pitting peaches. The women did the cooking and bottling.

I cannot thumb my nose at work yet, no winner on Wednesdays lottery.

Good Morning
It’s 61 going to 76 with rain likely.

Yesterday went pretty well, mowed the fence lines and around the buildings with the Lazer Z, than hooked up the Progressive mower to the tractor and mowed all the open area. Blew off the mowers, put the loader back on the tractor and put everything away.

Shearers are here, the circus is starting.
