68 going to 87. Always hard getting used to the heat-up.

Roy, hope the eye problem gets fixed easily. Taking Coco to a new vet internist this morning...she can't eat before the appointment, so is puzzled and was really bugging me for breakfast, finally gave up. The other vet put her back on prednisone and tramadol, so she has been quickly improving back to "her" normal.

Randy, glad you're back home sweet home.

RS, real nice mower...congrats!

Spent most of the day yesterday spreading pine bark mulch over the expanding flower bed with my wife. Finally emptied the trailer load by dinner time.

Here's a nice little story I came across this morning:

Heather Cooper writes:
My husband Mark Cooper was the one that spoke with Chico PD about the ducks. Mama duck was crossing the street in front of his truck with about 12 babies in tow. She walked across the storm drain and they followed- and every single one of them fell into the storm drain. He got out of his truck and pulled the storm drain off and was going to try and pull them out when Chico PD pulled up. They probably thought he was some crazy person at first, ripping the storm drain cover off 😂, but thankfully they followed through and saved the baby ducks 😍

Good morning all from Paris, Wisconsin. Supposed to rain today. Hope it doesn't hamper our installation progress too much. I'm ready to get back to SC and plow my garden.

4 wheel steering, so it tends to not drift downward on hillsides when running across them - feels very stable.

No power steering. The 500 series and up gets you that. Not really a problem for me ... as long you remember to put the unit in motion before you try to steer it. Once it's rolling, it's pretty easy ... but more effort than either Simplicity or the Kubota.

I’m curious about the steering.
So the front wheels are not casters like a typical ZT and actually steer?
Do the rear wheels steer or just use differential power to steer?
Can it pivot like a traditional ZT?

" The other vet put her back on prednisone and tramadol, so she has been quickly improving back to "her" normal."

Indeed great news. :)

Good Moring
It’s 61 and heading to 85 here today. That would be the hottest day of the year.

Had some great BBQ at Midwood Smokehouse in Charlotte yesterday, burnt ends, slaw and hush puppies, it was a beautiful day, so we ate outside on the patio. Made waiting for 10 hours for passengers almost palatable.

Tomorrow is shearing day for the alpacas. There’s 40 of them, so it’s a bit of a project. Today will largely be preparing for tomorrow, when the shearers get here.
