Mornin all, Got first round of planting complete. Pole saw to a few trees that needed it to give it a run. Only a few hundred to go.
Timmer attachment works well. Converted my FS110 to brushcutter with saw blade since I don;t need it to be a trimmer. Nice having the handlebars.

Radishes are doing well, Broccoli looks happy.

LS - good to see the pavers in
Phil - happy birthday to MIL
Our neighbors boy turned 5 yesterday-time does fly
Randy - hope this is just a hiccup on your recovery - get well!
Sodamo - can't wait to see Greenhouse project

Drew - Almost there, good luck on the surgery and get ready for PT. I have a titanium rod, screws and who knows what else in my right arm from a bicycling accident that almost ripped my arm clean off. Heavy jacket (winter), was only thing that saved it. PT was a pain, but many years down the road and the arm still works really well. So having a Dr. with that experience should make your life much better!

Back to work for me.
Stay Safe and be well.

Thanks guys, feeling better today.
Not sure when they’re going to spring me but I’m ready.

Mid sixties today, then a stretch of low to mid eighties. I need to be out there in that weather. Grass hasn’t been mowed for two weeks, got paperwork and billing to do, I need to be free!

Have a good day guys and I’ll check in soon.

Good morning! 45 now with a high of 68? Was 31 when I went out this morning. Supposed to hit 80 tomorrow, then rain for 3 days. Guess tomorrow is gonna be commuting on the Triumph day

Lots of seat time this weekend. Got home Friday morning from the week of “team building meetings”, decided the lawn needed mowing badly. Went in to work for a while to deal with a couple of issues. Didn’t stay long and came home and started mowing with the NH.

Rain was in the forecast Saturday, got both the NH and Craftsman out. Mowed the banks with the Craftsman, finished the rest with the NH. It did rain late in the afternoon, but was done with the mowing before the rain came.

Yesterday was drugstore and grocery store run, then start clearing the bank along the road. Used the heavy grass blade on the Stihl to clear the Russian Olive and multi-flora rose. Didn’t do very good last year getting ahead of it.

Then cut the replacement front inner panels for the cargo trailer/camper/toy hauler. Just need to cut the opening for the electrical outlet and paint them and will be ready to install. Maybe tonight.

Guy showed up late in the day with a NOS Bultaco cylinder head for the 350 I am rebuilding. Those are rare items. He traded the NOS head for a well used 360 pipe. That made me happy. Now just a few odds and ends from having a 2nd complete motor.

Thoughts for everyone dealing with health issues

Everyone stay safe out there

47F, sunny, and rapidly warming @ 11:00, supposed to be heading up to a high of 64F. I'm guessing we might beat that.

Quite a few critters out and about this morning ... providing some entertainment for the cats.

Feeders will no doubt be due for a refill today.

Judging from what I saw yesterday when I ran out, we ended up getting a pretty good burn down on the brush pile. If it's still hot might need to add some more to it, to keep it going.

Front lawn is probably ready to be mowed as well ... before all the dandelions go to seed.

First though, I need to put the box blade on and unload the van.

Also need to hose off the old toilet, shrink wrap it, and give Habitat Restore a call to schedule a pick up.

Then the box blade and the FEL can be removed for mowing.

At some point later today I'll hopefully get to assembling the new dump cart and core aerator. The rain forecast for Wed/Thu/Fri is now up to 1.25" ... so aerating the lawn later or Friday or Saturday might in the cards.

But first on the order of business today will be to get all the fishies fed.

Hope everyone has an enjoyable, productive, and safe start to their week ... (y)

The thought of getting dirty and going where others fear to tread, not getting stuck

66°F and .16 inches rain.

Looks like another chance to mow day. If I can get half of remaining area done today I’m happy.

Zoom Happy Hour this afternoon.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

The Front load Whirlpool washer is collecting water when it is not in use. A water valve is on order. Could a water hammer be causing it to let a little water through the valve? It accumulates about 2 cups every 3 days.
Speed Queen.

Randy, more prayers for you.

I'm stuck in the driver's license office for the 2ND TIME today. Argh. Daughter's learning permit. Looks like another hour and a half or more. Y'all keep posting to give me something to read!

PJS, I tried to grow hair longer, but it flapped around behind my motorcycle helmet, and ended up with tangles and split ends.

Eric, fun picture. Ready for finishing school soon. ;)

Kyle did they make your daughter provide a birth certificate, like they did for my mom?

When I got my first license in NC, they’d just gone to photo license. It was extremely hot and humid, so we did a very abbreviated test drive. Got back and proudly got my photo snapped in my best burgundy Ban Lon. I then found out I was the last customer that Friday and they only printed them out in pairs. They had my $1.25 and totally sucked the energy out my 16 year old body. I had to wait until Monday, in other words forever. Then the trooper, that had been writing the whole time, looked up and smiled and said, fold this paper and put it in your wallet, if anybody says anything you tell them to call Trooper Tadlock, now drive safely.
I don’t think my feet touched the ground on the way to the car!

EKG done, no problems, none expected, all set for early tomorrow.
Need to find the largest shirt I own, not sure whether sling will go under or over.

Randy keep up your spirits and get Ellen to bring you some good food. Unless you are on a very
controlled diet.

a very long day, first the dentist and then the cardiologist, both visits in seats and positions that hurt my neck.
I can see why folks would abuse opioids. You really get tired of hurting. But just got off the phone with endocrinologist who I saw
last week who called me to tell me to double up my steroid dose tomorrow morning. He actually remembered....I was impressed.
First time I've seen much proactivity from local docs, this was a nice call. And even better, he cleared me for going back on the low dose
steroids I had been on, and went off with everything else a week before the procedure. Except I should have kept taking the steroids, they seem much
more interested in anticoagulants and herbal stuff. Trying not to fake out the anesthesiologist who is a most important fellow.
I really want to wake up... ;)
So going cold turkey on the steroids was not a good idea.
Pill taken, all is well.

Almost wonder if just wearing a light jacket home would be the easiest, best due to full length zipper.
But I have to get a shirt on at some point. And I'll get to wear those dorky yellow socks they give you.

living alone really sucks at these times, no helping hands.
Though all kinds of folks are there, have called and emailed, thankfully a long list, but I have to figure out how to dress myself.

old friend, elderly retired doc, offered to chip in 5 grand if I bought a tractor and used it on his place.
I know his place well, Nadene and I had a garden in one of his upper fields, beautiful rolling fields estate on Windybush Road.
Best offer I've had all day...
I thanked him, and said after I get through this year's operations, it sounded very interesting for next year.

That grandson of yours sure does use nice equipment, Eric. The flowing locks look good, too. What is this "haircut" thing you guys are always talking about?
Haircuts are something I gave up in college, and now again for Covid-19. The only difference now is what's left is all white. :ROFLMAO:
