49 going to 75 and sunny. Saw a fox in the driveway when I went out with Coco this morning. Was beginning to think the coyotes had moved on, but got one on a trail cam yesterday before light not too far from the house.

NHBX, also too windy to get much done outside yesterday, but late in day when it slacked off, I hiked back in the woods and picked up sticks.

Baseball season is almost here! Will be drafting my first team this morning. Last year I managed 3 and it was a handful, but enjoyable for a short season. My favorite player was out all season with colon cancer, but is back strong in spring practice.

43-72 today and not as windy as yesterday.
It got to 85 yesterday, supposed to be in the 40s two days next week. Spring on Delmarva.
Trip to Carolina kept getting put off for various reasons, looks like next Friday now.

Before my first shot the recommendation was wait two hours after the shot then only Acetaminophen.

Ron, new cars try squeeze as much power as possible in the smallest engine, that requires high cylinder pressure from boost, compression ratio or both. In order to that you gotta have knock resistance or you have an expensive hand grenade.
My STS required premium or you got a noticeable drop in performance. My son’s CTSv is the same way.

Billy, my Dad took us boys into NYC as kids to see Mickey Mantle and Yogi Berra several times.
We were definitely Yankee fans. I think of baseball and I think of my Father asleep on the couch on a Saturday afternoon
with the television still on and the game playing. It was the only time he got to take a nap, otherwise he worked a 60 hour week.

I wonder how many young people today are willing to work a 60 hour week. Then you have the flip side of the coin in Japan where those folks
sure take their jobs too seriously and have all kinds of alcohol problems because of it.
Am pretty sure my grandfather worked six days a week for most of his life. It was just the way of things, particularly if you owned your own business
and knew what it was like for the world to fall apart in 1929.

37 right now...high in the mid-50's today...

Definitely a dump run today...didn't go last weekend, so a pretty good quantity to go. Snow's pretty much gone, so I think I'll drop the snow blower and front blade...hook up the bucket. The flail mower is still pretty inaccessible, so that may have to wait for next weekend.
Since the field is also pretty clear, I'm going to run the Gator down there...quite a bit of standing water on the field though. I want to see is how much branch trimming I need to do before running the tractor down there. IIRC, I written I don't want any of that very expensive cab glass busted when mowing. I expect it'll be too wet to get down there with the chain and pole saws though

If you're a dog lover, as I am...got two very sweet stories to share...read the links in order...

If those don't make you feel good, check your heartbeat...you're probably dead

of course any farmer would just laugh at 60 hours a week. That would be like being on vacation for a dairy farmer.

Good morning, a tad cool this morning at 26°F and the high should be 41. Wind calm. Cloudy.

An energy conservation day.

Have a safe day all

Good Morning
47 and climbing to 65 today. Yesterday’s strong winds have subsided, looks like a nice day, with rain tonight. Highest gust that I recorded was 37mph, with the Tempest and Davis in agreement.

Pork came out quite good. It went in the smoker around 6pm and came out just before noon.

I had the QC manager watching me shred it....

And ended up with a good amount when I was done. I gave about 2/3 of it away, but I’ve got enough in the fridge to last quite a while.

Made good progress in the shop, there’s 3 speakers in process now, so I’m figuring out how to most efficiently work on them. I’m a long way from Henry Ford, but it does save time.

Today I’ve got to go to Hilton Head again, hopefully I can get a little done in the shop when I get back.

It’s nice not to start each day with a search for a vaccination appointment!

My scheduled work week was 58 hours for most of my working life. It has paid off in retirement. Not rich, but comfortable.
