Sunny, frosty 25 and the wind has finally died. Only 49 forecast today.
Ron, I'd like to smell those apples, too.
Took wife to get the shot yesterday, mine's today. Funny how things work out...Got an email from the state health department at 3pm after we got home, telling me it's "my turn" to get the vaccine, and who else do I need to simultaneously schedule? Would have been much more convenient for us to get them at the same time, driving to a closer clinic...would have saved about 200 miles over going on separate days in two different directions...but we're sticking to the original CVS appointments. While waiting for my wife to get the shot, saw one lady our age get hers, then go outside and take a selfie with the store logo in the background.
Cut a nice load of firewood before dark...a standing dead oak right next to the fox den. I have a trail cam there and have seen pix of bears, deer, turkey, coons, possums, squirrels, rabbits, groundhogs, coyotes, pileated woodpeckers, and skunks hanging out or passing through the area...but was concerned that skunks may have moved into the den...so plugged both "known" entrance holes with firewood rounds and cut the tree down and into rounds, careful to keep an eye out in case there was a third secret hole.
