The geo Aux heat did not run last night, but ran at 22° and wind. Going to 30°, today is snow prep day. Will get bucket on tractor.

Snow to start around 7 am tomorrow. Makes it difficult about calling off worship. I let the locals make that decision, as I live about 25 min away.

Coax adapters arrived in mail. Got them installed this afternoon and loaded Verizon sim into the MoFI. Had to make some setting changes. Get a very strong Band 13 signal, stronger than my AT&T band 12, but internet quality not nearly as got, long pings near 200 and speeds less than 10mbps. Will play with settings this weekend and maybe talk with tech support, but first glance definitely not enticing to upgrade.

Those numbers may not be up there with urban 4G service, but they're still an order of magnitude better than what comes down from the satellite, David.

Yesterday I found a new-to-me 4G reseller called SkyMobile that offers a cellular modem with external antennae and a plan through AT&T. The AT&T signal seems to be stronger here, or at least those visitors with AT&T phones seem to have better luck than I do completing calls when they're here. Your report has me wondering what sort of meter you're using to measure signal strength vs. band, though...

I realized afterwards that the Brits have a traffic entertainment device just like we do here, the infamous too low overpass bridge that all the box vans crash into despite tons
of signs. Well the English have a high water/flooding spot that is now well known, there are thirteen different videos on folks navigating this little section of water.
One would think the street dept would put up temporary signs if it's such a well known spot.
There's nothing on the telly so let's go watch the show out on the road.
Surprised they don't have folks with signs giving ratings.

We're still having what I'd consider to be unusual weather; 57 degrees going for 74 today with 28 to 36 mph wind. There was also a 40% chance of rain, but it's already passed by here and missed us.

By the looks birds and squirrels have competition for there morning breakfast now,1 of 2 groups show up early lot yearlings...guess it's time to get feeder out and fill today.

19 outside this AM. Heading to mid 40's. Snow anywhere from 4 to 10 plus expected starting tomorrow.

Busy day yesterday. No grocery run. Daughter is hosting a new dog. First time in a few years the farm has a dog on it. Do not know if she will adopt. Poor thing looks skittish...but after I hear what it has been through....I get it.

Picked up youngest last night from Dulles. Only two people standing outside looking for rides when I got her. And she was one of them. I have never seen that place so empty. .
She said Denver was packed .
