36 looking for 41...rain later.

DFtodd - nice truck, congrats.

I hope you didn't make a mess eating that sauce, Thomas...recipe sounds great...never had sauce like that.

Shoulder problems are tough...hope yours is better, Alien.

Was reading about the new Ford F150 hybrid yesterday...has outlets in the bed from a 7200-watt inverter, enough to run a plasma cutter, TIG, chop saw, compressor, angle grinder, and a worklight simultaneously...runs off the 1.5kilowatt hybrid battery before waking up the engine to turn on the generator....and crazy 430hp and 24 mpg. Amazing, but at $68K, pretty expensive genny. :)

Sharpened my chain, got up my nerve, and tackled the big oak in the woods...Fell exactly where I wanted (which was simply a prediction of where it wanted to go), but a big branch caught a neighboring oak and pulled it down, snapping roots in two. What power. Started snowing on me (flurries) while I was bucking it. Got a full load, with much more to go, but was dark by the time I drove the tractor back up the hill and unloaded the wood.

Once chuck up maybe split once would make great all nighters in wood furnace.

Take it slow on your back.

Good morning, the temperature is 20°F and going up to 23. Wind SSE 3 mph. 40% chance of flurries.

A run into the PO first thing, then put the chains on. Probably run it around a bit to get the chains to settle and then retighten them.

After the chains comes energy conservation.

Have a safe day all

Good Morning
It’s 24 with a forecast high in the upper 30’s. Mostly cloudy with “wintery mix” tonight through tomorrow.

It was barely 20 and 35mph winds in NH yesterday, actually felt good to wear a mask outside.

USPS tracking says the LED headlight bulbs for the tractor will arrive today, that will complete the LED conversion.

I’ve got to start another speaker today, nice to have an inside project for the yukky weather days. I’ll get the trailer pulled out today as well while there is a hard freeze and no slop.

Hopefully my arm will be better in a few days. Main concern is my back as I am slowly becoming unhealthy due to the fact I can't walk very far. 50 yards and I am struggling. Only 100 kilos so not really overweight. I will be if this keeps up. Last 2 laminectomies were quite successful so I don't mind the thought of going through it again.

33-45 today, clouds now and rain later. They totally took the snow out of Thursday’s forecast. Went from 3-5” to less than 1” to nothing but cold.

I have to go Friday for an echocardiogram as part of my one year follow up on my aortic valve replacement. See the NP on the 4th.
Son and family (oldest and youngest grandsons) are coming Friday for middle grandson’s birthday on Saturday.
I also get my first vaccine Saturday if it doesn’t get canceled. Gotta get on my morning chores and breakfast I’m running behind. I run against the wind a lot.
