Good morning!!!!

Good morning! 31 now with light snow. May not get any warmer. Had some snow over night, more predicted later.

Today is grocery day. I will be designated driver. Hopefully there are some groceries available. Lots of empty shelves again.

I did putter around in the garage yesterday. Didn稚 accomplish much, just felt good to be in the garage. Maybe today I will get brave and start to tackle the Bultaco 350 motor I have been eyeing cautiously for too long. It will power the actual race bike that got me involved in flat track many years ago.

Or maybe not.....see how ambitious I feel.

Everyone stay safe out there!

Canada is going to get very cold very soon

Snow's almost stopped...figure I'll head out in a couple hours...
Still 31 degrees and I don't really expect it to hit the mid-30's (the forecast) today.
Think I'll take a short snooze right now

The air was really bad Friday. It smelled stale and looked almost like fog. Thank goodness it rained Friday night. It is much better now.

The New Medcram video is about building health. Fix Your Indoor Air: Better Health & Mental Performance (And Avoid COVID-19) w/ Prof. Joseph Allen - YouTube Filtration and ventilation. Of course new building regulations call for making buildings as air tight as possible. When I used to work building houses there used to be a crusty old carpenter. After the insulation and vapor barrier were in he would go around and slash the plastic so the house could breath. I guess today you an get heat exchange ventilators to bring in fresh air.

Good Morning!!!! 68F @ 6:15AM. Mostly sunny. High 72F. Winds light and variable.
A High Wind Warning starts tonight, lasting through Tuesday. Could see gusts of 50MPH in the mountain passes. Rain is back in the forecast for next weekend, but only 50% chance.

Time for you to get a GoPro camera, Drew. The newer ones are voice activated. Wear it on your chest, shoulder, or head with an inexpensive harness. Pavers came out real nice!

Sorry to hear about Coco's limp, Bill. Any chance she'll get better?

I remember going ice skating on a snow day off from school, and I remember snow drifts up to the window sills. That was back in the early 60s in central Ohio.

If it's already in the 70s here in January, I hate to think what it's gonna be like in July, Buppies!

I keep trying for a 12 pack of Bounty at Costco, but by the time I usually get there it's all gone. Plenty of their crappy Kirkland TP available, though...

Did some shopping yesterday morning. Found a small stainless steel table for the concrete front porch that'll be the new home for the Makita battery charger. Also learned that NGK is phasing out the non-resistor spark plugs used by my BMW motorcycles; Bosch quit makin' 'em a couple years ago. So got four six packs on order, and would like to find more. Still no luck finding that transmission bearing though.

Parcel box got a workout yesterday, taking deliveries from FedEx, UPS, and USPS. Walmart packed 12 gallons of oil into one huge box, and it was all I could do to get it up and out of there. Another shipper used one of those "if it fits, it ships" boxes to pack two 8 pound spools of MIG wire, and there wasn't a square corner left on the outside. Hope the plastic spools inside aren't cracked.

Got another pallet loaded off the splitter, and started on another one. Today looks like more of the same.

Hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Saturday night cruising on Woodward Ave?
With your perfectly restored Royal Pontiac GTO...
Trips and a Hurst four speed. Sun tach on the column.
boys will be boys
I sure never wanted to grow up...:D

I’ve been to the Woodward
Dream Cruise three times, very cool. I’ve owned two GTO’s, a 65 and 66, both convertibles with Tri Power and 4 speed. Someday I’ll post a link to the classic cars I’ve owned over the years.

I remember Hazel even though I was only about 2, I remember trees being down and everything being flooded. We lived in South Mills, NC.

All you guys hoarding toilet paper, you should be ashamed! We never have more than about thirty rolls at any time.

35-48 today, no precipitation until at least Friday. I don’t see any snow for at least 15-16 days. I hope none at all.

Wngsprd, glad to hear doggie is doing better. Gracie has arthritis in one hind leg, she gets glucosamine every day and it really seems to help.

Stepson’s birthday so they are coming over for cake later, we will distance as best we can.
Have a good, safe day.

31 right now...light to moderate snow falling. The high today is mid-30's. As far as accumulation...probably not the 6" from last night's forecast.
Right now, there's not enough on the drive to use the blower....walks will need it though. Hope this snow is drier then yesterday's!

Here is what greeted me this morning. Great for going for a walk, with everything quiet and muffled by the snow on the trees.

66°F and no rain.

No real activities planned. Watch the playoffs. Energy conservation.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Beautiful pictures!
I really don't like walking in the snow anymore...that's due to my gimpy right leg. I do love the quiet when it's snowing. I could handle that all year long...
Still lightly snowing...guess it could be considered heavy flurrying. Batteries for the snow blower are charged...expect to head out late afternoon now.
Also calling for snow showers tonight...

This sure sounds good

7 years ago when I moved to NC PA had six feet of snow that winter. That just isn't happening any more. Famous last words.

Western PA just had one of the snowiest December’s on record, you just on the wrong end.

I didn’t buy any Tp or paper towels on my Friday Costco trip, they had plenty. I like the Kirkland TP, it’s better than charmin.

43°, just back from worship. Last week I remotely streamed our worship while I was in VA. Good thing I didn’t go to OH, I saw pics of the interstate in WV covered in snow.

Not sure what’s in store for today.

No update on my brother.

Gosh Toppop, I start getting nervous when I get down to around 50 rolls!
Get that itch to pack the basement shelves with a couple hundred rolls.
Therapist could have fun with that.

Buppies, sounds like more global warming

Rich, get better each day.

I think someone mentioned a Sunday afternoon nap.

Ron, Hurricane Hazel pounded the western edge of Toronto. At the time we lived 21 miles east of T.O. Our basement got about 2 feet of water in it, we were lucky. Lost the hydro and no genny in those days, so no sump pump either.

That Irish coffee looks good. The babe is HOT!
I don't normally put cream in my coffee, no sugar either, but I have been known to put a generous shot of Baileys Irish Cream into a 12 oz mug.

Back from Costco to get a new battery for son’s car. He was going to get groceries, and click click click. Jumped it with jump starter to get it in garage. Says 43° out but the air is cold.

I Cruised Woodward in the 60’s. Don’t need to do it today. I visited the Royal Pontiac show room more than one time. But I was a Plymouth/Dodge guy. Then Corvette/Chevy.
Not sure why my post said North East. That is we’re I lived during my cruising years. I worked at a shop 2 blocks off Woodward in the early 60’s.
I edited my original post to say North West.

25.2 C here at 7.00 am. A little bit muggy. Hot day ahead. Had a bad night again. Hopefully hospital can sort it next Monday. Couldn't sleep for 2 days and a night a couple of days ago. Very lonely sitting awake by yourself for so long.
Tractor coolant hose leaking and a front tyre flat when I went to use it yesterday. No puncture that I can see. Blew it up and slight bubbles coming out around the tyre tube valve stem. Looks like I'll have to drop the tyre off the rim and inspect it. I have a spare tube if needed.

Wife has been busy (me doing all the work) assembling a giant bird cage in the lounge room. We have a cockatoo and galah that were feeling the heat in the outdoor aviary. They like being inside. (Ocky and Rocky)

Baby Tawny Frogmouths that hatched in the tree at the front of the house are now flying around everywhere but return to their tree every morning along with parents. They watch everything we do when we are outside. Beautiful little things.
Have a nice day all.

It’s quite a show during the Dream Cruise, classic cars in two lanes on each side from Pontiac to about, 6 mile RD. I met Jim Wangers there in 2001.
