Good morning all, 21 going up to 33 and sunny.
Was windy here and knocked over some xmas decoration and lots of branches.
Duck with black raspberry sauce came out great with roasted brussel sprouts cut in half and topped with good olive oil and sea salt.
Texting and calling with friends and relatives not the same as visiting, but all are doing ok and BIL-SIL are recovered from Covid.
Good to see everyone doing well and RichB1 getting better.
L4N , I am severely lactose intolerant-but get by with lactose free milk, butter (just came on the market) and hard cheeses, need to be aged over 12 months to reduce lactose. Also Cabot cheese from Vermont (cheddar, monterray jack). Let me know if you want recipes etc. I am bad enough any lactose can get me a free ambulance ride.
Made potato pancakes for breakfast. Nice basic recipe, grew up with lots of Hungarian/eastern European cooking.
Some many great pictures. We had a lot of rain and flooding here, but no real damage so all good.
Stay safe and be well, and may next year be good to all of you and your families.
