33 and rain right now...high in the mid-40's today. We're right on the cusp between rain and freezing rain...glad I don't have to drive to work this morning!
Shouldn't be up this early, but my programmable clock's alarm went off (forgot to disable the alarm last night). So, a quick tour of TBN and the internet, along with a cup of coffee
No turkey for us today...we're having home made chili. None of us are big fans of turkey...
Only chore today is putting in one or two more driveway markers. Well, that's a chore for sometime this week since we're off until Monday
33 and rain right now...high in the mid-40's today. We're right on the cusp between rain and freezing rain...glad I don't have to drive to work this morning!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
40 degrees and raining here. Will have a small get together today and then enjoy the rest of the day.
My wife has had the whole week off and we are enjoying the time together. Looks like more rain in the future so I'm not sure how much more I can get done outside before the snow flies. Need to move a few more things out of the way.
Prayers for all in need! I hope everyone else stays safe and healthy!

35 now high in the low 40s and rain all day today. Should see around 0.5” better than nothing. To bad it’s on a travel day.
No plans for today just staying home and having a couple of steaks for dinner and finish off the last couple of bottles of oatmeal stout.

A sunny start here, with another crisp white frost covering all except the woodburner flue pipes.
It sounds like despite the pandemic, some of you will still be able to enjoy a family gathering today. For others, I imagine it could feel very strange today, perhaps you can take some comfort in using this as an opportunity to think back on some of the best memories of past Thanksgivings.
For me, living in the country that forced some of your distant ancestors to leave gives no cause for celebration. Even worse, dismantling an external toilet last used by builders has reached the top of my to-do list for the day. Yuk.

Warm 51 out now in light rain, .53 inches so far, going up to 66 today.

Today I'm going to hang some pictures I haven't gotten around to, maybe go build another birdhouse with a simpler roof system
since it's going to be warm today. First one built with 2" entrance hole, going to make next one with 1 1/2" hole for smaller birds.
Larger holes allow wider variety of birds to use it, but also allows bigger birds to prey on smaller ones, including eating their eggs.
Brother and wife bringing me a home made turkey dinner tonight, something to look forward to.
Read that murder rate in Philadelphia is up 37 percent from last year, last night four young men all shot to death in various altercations.
City Of Brotherly Love not living up to its name for sure.
I am very thankful I made it to this point this year, and look forward to a calmer and healthier next year.
Wish the same for everyone.

Poured first cup of coffee. 46° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 46° with cloudy skies. At least no snow or rain for today. Got invited to neighbors house for a pre Thanksgiving dinner. All 4 of sitting at our own side of table. First meal away from my house in months. I am ready to spend the day alone at my home. Lots of calls to make today. Turf and surf for my Thanksgiving dinner.
