39F and cloudy/damp @ 11:15 ... rained overnight, although not raining now. Calling for rain later. Supposedly headed up to a high of 51F.

Got hopper feeder, tube feeders, and nugget feeder refilled yesterday. Also squirrel feeder partially refilled (25%) ... and they have already emptied it out ... Was a squirrel on it this morning when I got up, along with three bluejays clustered around the base of the tree it's on. And about ten mourning doves pecking around on the ground at the tube feeders.

Most of the day yesterday was spent doing kitchen clean up. Did manage to get the sides cut for a roost box last night. Also boxed up some Nat Geo books we'll be donating to the library's annual book sale. Have more of that to do today.

Fed the six white worm containers ... they seem to be going through food faster as they recolonize.

Plans for today include more kitchen clean up, finish cutting wood for roost box, finish assembling second squirrel feeder, maybe some fish room work.

Probably mix up a batch of the special blend for the tree rats and refill that feeder before the rain gets here.

Hope everyone has an enjoyable, productive, and safe Sunday ...

I was looking at ground contact 4x4’s this morning, the price was 12 rolls of TP, or an ounce of gold! My projects can wait a while.

Does anyone know anything either good or bad about these Revitive gadgets, and if so, what's the difference between the cheaper one and the more expensive one?

Device Offers for All Products - REVITIVE Circulation Booster

My wife spends most of her time sitting on the sofa, but her legs get to hurting and especially at night after she goes to bed. I've read both good and bad reviews about the Revitive and can't decide whether to order one, and if so, which one.

I get suspicious when I see “FDA cleared”. While it might work, did FDA approve it?

I’ve been having lots of nerve pain in my right leg lately, and my feet super sensitive with pain due to GBS.

Went to town this morning. Breakfast at Denny's. Then across the street to academy sports to get some ideas for Xmas gifts for the grand kiddos.

Then to Sam's club for a few things. Sam's club actually had two pallets of Lysol spray. It felt like we hit the lotto. . Wife and I each grabbed a 4 pack of lysol and headed for seperate check out lines.

We are keeping 1 of the 4 packs of Lysol for our selves. Gave a bottle of lysol to each kid. And giving the other two bottles to mom when we see her Friday.

Sam's club is out of TP and paper towels.

Checked out the firearm selection while we were in academy sports. They had a good selection of shotgun shells. But the rest of the ammunition aisles were cobwebs and dust bunnies.

Similar with the firearms selections. They had a few rifles and shotguns. And a few selections of pistols. Mostly empty shelves.

built another birdfeeder, it looks a little nicer than the first one
feet and legs hurt from standing on that cold concrete, going to order a big rubber pad to stand on, like I had in my old shop.

I ordered some shepherd hook bird feeder poles, one for me and one for my brother likely.

RS, with three bluejays and a squirrel, you will be kept mighty busy at that feeder.
Bluejays really are dominant alpha birds, nice to look at but no one else is getting a bite while they are there...

time to chill

Chores done...greasing the snow blower's auger bearings and hitting the chute, fan (and housing) along with the auger and housing...now all I need is some snow to test it all out!

The 4520 I just sold had a Deere Powertech engine...pretty cold natured beast so either a good battery and/or a block heater was essential below 35 degrees. The Yanmar engines (which replaced the Powertech engines...probably for emissions reason) have been good cold weather starters. It was about 33 degrees when I greased and sprayed this morning...then started the tractor with a few seconds of the air intake heater (Deere doesn't use glow plugs on the compact tractors)…very nice!
So, time for some YouTube or a movie...maybe a taste of Jameson's and soup!!

More yummy take home food from the Italian place after worship services. We did decide to discontinue Bible classes for now due to the CV increase, just stick to in person worship. Number in attendance was down. One family in self quarantine due to possible exposure.

Neighbor was mowing, so I decided to mow the back yard / field to match. I didnt do the hillside where it didn’t need it, but everything seen from the house got mowed. Got trash out for morning pickup.

I was looking around one of my tool cabinets yesterday and found some stuff I forgot I had. I need to consolidate stuff, some in basement in 2 places, most in garage, some in barn.
Even a few tools upstairs in the unfinished room.

Think my pneumatic Brad nailer is porter cable, same for my biscuit cutter.

Evening all! Was 42 and sunny most of the day.
I usually wait till after Thanksgiving to hang Christmas decorations but today was to nice to pass up. Got a Santa and Rudolph from my wife's family that is as old or older than I am. Had to find a spot for that! Also got the lights all hung up and working. Having them wound up on spools makes the job much easier!

Busy tomorrow. Wife needs to see a doc about drops for her glaucoma. Then more running around looking at cars for her. Think we will just end up ordering one with what she wants on it.

My medical issues seem to be much better so far. Modern meds are great! Hopefully the long term side effects will be small.
Hope everyone stays safe and healthy. Prayers for those who are in need.
