50 and the sun is coming out, going to 65...major flood warnings still out. Unfortunately, the rain total from this storm for us was 6.66 inches. Everything seems to be swimming in water.
Wife is bringing her mom here for birthday celebration today. First time she will have visited since the C.virus started...now the assisted living community is allowing up to 12 hours of residents going out...still no one comes in. Not sure how much sense this makes. My job is to take the trash to the dump and pick up some pizza that my MIL loves, and hasn't had in 8 months.
My free C.virus test kit, Tamiflu and digital thermometer kit came last week from my healthcare insurance provider, and also one of those home colon cancer screening tests. So I'll drop by the post office and mail off a piece of me
. The digital thermometer is in with the trash for the dump (minus the perfectly good battery). It just doesn't read consistently, or correctly. I know I'm a cold bast*** but not one with a temp of 89F to 94F. The battery is a 2032 Panasonic, so will go into my headlamp.
Ron, great woodpecker and flag pix. Looking at that suet reminded me when I turned on the outside spotlight at 4am today, a raccoon was sitting at the bottom of the paulownia tree enjoying a brand new suet bar I had just refilled into the feeder yesterday...all gone now.
Eric, we like our dark skies, too, and rarely have an outside light burning, but Randy's communicating with aliens does sound like a friendly thing to do.
