60 going to 75 and no fog outside. Grass never dried yesterday and ground still soft.

Big rain starts tonight into tomorrow and Friday...so need to do outside stuff today.

David, always fun having a dog around when you're doing things...mine usually get bored after a while and goes back into the house.

Went to Costco for my flu shot yesterday...not the usual big crowd...I think because their monthly sale starts today. Arm is a little sore, otherwise feel good. Got gas for $1.89...glad to see it back at that level...seems like I was paying $2.09 at Sheetz and Exxon.

Good morning folks

Drop off ballot at town clerks office this morning.

Get snow plow and mounts out and ready to put on tractor.

Not much else planned for today.

Enjoy your day everyone

good morning all.
warmer day with more rain showers coming in from small system, 53 going to 64 today
Then some clearing out before rain from Beta arrives, several inches predicted which we don't need.
Glad I got all my bulbs planted.

am off to Board of Elections this morning to hopefully pick up ballot and vote today. Otherwise at least get something in writing
proving I am registered, never got my voter card in mail as promised.

Then off to friend's home for lunch and returning the moving blankets and bungee cords I borrowed. Since two were lost, somewhere..., need to stop in auto
parts store and buy two more on the way. Amazon only had packs of ten.

Looks like good progress David. Surprised your dog doesn't mind whine of saw.

I don't know why my Amazon postings get hijacked the way they do.

Hope you all have a good day. Surprised there is so much snow for some of you.
Drew the link worked fine for me when you posted it and I just checked again and it is still working for me here

Drinking first cup of coffee. 37° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 51° with partly cloudy skies. Went to out to get started collecting all the tools I used in cellar at 8:30 yesterday. It was already raining. Decided to call it a conserve energy day. Ended up with .25" of drizzle for the day. Todays plans. Same as yesterday.

David, good supervision always makes a job get done properly.

Mostly, not a problem for painting. Door is not outside. Will try to get a picture today.

Looking, have a safe trip.

Drew, I have left maybe ten reviews in the 20 years I have been using Amazon. All of them positive. Never been hacked. I get so many requests for reviews that lead to wanting more questions. I refuse to answer any of them. I feel that my buying a product and not returning it. Is good enough of a review. Harbor Freight is best place for moving blankets. You did move a area that has a HF?

Buckeye, BCBS is highest priced insurance here in MI. United will be cheaper and maybe better.

Wngsprd, good to hear Coco is doing much better.

Eric, get a new hose. Wife will be happy.

Roy, I have a small deer feeder that works good for me. We are not allowed to feed deer here. It is mostly for squirrels and other small critters. Moultrie Feed Station. Amazon.com: Moultrie Feed Station | Gravity Feeder | UV-Resistant Plastic | 4 lb. Capacity | Strap Included: Sports & Outdoors

Don, I use JARBO cartridge's in my HP 6500 from many years.

LS, hope you got water line thawed.

Everyone stay safe and healthy.

Good Morning All.

Chris wife's sister tried one, after 1st deer strike, hit 2 more in a month, took it off no more deer strikes since.

Mostly, could she have put it on backwards?

63 with wind chill of 62, wind chill?
Low 70s today and tomorrow with rain starting overnight. Around 2” for us with wind. Friday and Saturday highs will be 53 they say, 49 by Monday. At least no snow.

Doctor appointment later to check my arm, which feels lots better but sure looks ugly, but then it is on me.
Plan to vote while out if lines are not too long. Been wrapped around front and side of Civic Center for two straight days. Glad to see the turnout.

Glad I got the grass mowed before the rain.

Prayers for the gang.

It’s just under 50 and foggy here this morning, with rain likely today and certain tomorrow. I’ve got a pile of lumber stacked up for a manure bin that I have to build that’s going to have to wait a little longer. I guess I can mount the auger on the tractor in the meantime and make sure it’s ready to go when the weather is.

How about tractor supply? There is one on 611 in Pipersville.

nice looking store, and remarkably, 4.5 out of 5 reviews on Google. Must have a competent store manager, which is becoming a rarity.
tractor supply pipersville - Google Search

now all I need is a tractor...
actually I need some gardening tools too, might stop in there, thanks

59 outside this AM. Heading to 75 today. And they are calling for a lot of rain the next two days. I ended up not doing much yesterday. I still need to get the mortar mix into the foundation. Running out of time with the warm weather. Maybe today?

Need to find some better screws for the vinyl siding.

Should throw some seed down in the back pasture where I fixed some holes.....think I will go do that.

Hope all have a good day. Be safe.

Ron, yes I had already bought HF moving blankets, needed more and their store is half an hour away minimum.
marvelous bird picture this morning.

your state seems to be having a terrible time with Covid:
Wisconsin faces "urgent" Covid-19 crisis as coronavirus cases continue to rise

I am in Michigan. Numbers are going up here to. But hospitals are not getting over crowded. We have 2 emergency COVID recovery places in Detroit area. Both over 500 beds. At its peak in March April they had less than 30 patients.

I’ve gotten so I carry a bag of seed on the tractor, so when I get the hole fixed I chunk the seed on it, then pack it down with the tractor.

sorry Ron, got my states mixed up.
Rip, you are really working hard.

just ordered a small ozone generator to put in my damp basement. Even with dehumidifier running almost constantly, still funky
smelling down there. Used to use ozone generators in boats in Florida to get rid of bilge smell. Ozone bothers my eyes, and they say don't use in living spaces...?
Unit has a two hour timer, will use it that way for awhile and see how it does.

sad what is going on with riots and looting in Philadelphia. Not exactly the City of Brotherly Love any more...

looks like today's rain has gone North of me. Fine with me.

   / Good morning!!!! #120,976
most of my reviews are positive and that wasn't the issue here, was merely a link to the weather station I had just ordered, so no review involved.
Instead they showed a water pump, which I've never bought from them...
as I've mentioned before, have read that 40 percent of Amazon reviews are phony; because most people sort by "highest rated", whole industry has developed
faking reviews

Yep .. the "Amazon" link went to a water pump on eBay for me as well.

Good Morning!!!! 57F @ 5:00AM. Sunny. High 78F. Winds light and variable.
Still no rain in the 10 day; best we can manage is partly cloudy next Tuesday.
Red Flag Warning expired last night, and power came back on at noon yesterday. Less than ten minutes after the 'copter came flying down the line, the power was back on. So whoever is throwing the switches must be in direct contact to whoever is inspecting the lines.

I was exhausted just reading through your rundown on the porch work, Mike. It's lookin' great, just hope you can keep chippin' away at all the rest you've got on your plate.

Another beautiful bird shot, Ron. The jays out here aren't as colorful, but they're just as full of the Devil!

I bought the big HF moving blanks ten years ago for the move up here. Used one a few weeks ago and it left a bunch of blue powder all over everything, and the cloth was badly fraying. And now it's too late to take it back for a refund.

Doesn't look like your supervision'll let you get away with anything but your best work, David!

The only thing I get from United Healthcare, Bill, are statements. Mom always did like you best.

Hope you get that water line thawed before it breaks, Ted. I remember lots of miserably cold hikes in from the parking lots I frequented during trips to Albuquerque. I don't miss that place at all...

Looks like something with needle sharp teeth has been chewing on your hose, Eric. If you can get it to keep coming back for more, it would be a good soaker hose for next summer. On the other hand, if you just need a regular hose, maybe some of Flex Tape | Flex Seal Family of Products Official Site will help. It sure works good for the guy on the TV...

Got my first buck with a Toyota 4x4, running deer whistles. They don't work on motorcycles, either; I've hit two while riding the bikes. And so many close calls I've lost track. Sorry about your Toyota, Paul.

Ordered two more cameras and another AP for the network yesterday, a set of factory decals for the new R80 G/S I picked up a few weeks ago, and a temperature controller for a set of electric heated grips and seat that'll go on the white bike. Made some good progress on the cam hole plug, too, but still have more to do. Also did some mill work on the red bike's valve covers so I don't have to fool with those tiny M6 nuts anymore. Last Friday's two-day delivery order from McMaster has turned into three, and it has the socket head cap screws needed for several little jobs that'll be nice to get done if the box gets here early enough.

Still playing phone tag with the solar contractor, and the service manager at the Kubota dealer says the salesman was supposed to work out what to do on the leaky top'n'tilt valves, but hasn't. How do people stay in business when they don't take care of their customers?:confused3:

Happy Hump Day, folks!

41°F and cloudy this morning, going up to 53° today. More rain on the way this evening and into tomorrow.

Few things get the pucker factor up as much as a deer lifting it's head on the side of the road as seen from the seat of a motorcycle, Thomas.

At least your supervisors aren't sitting in an office sipping coffee and playing on their phones, David. Looks like you're making good progress.

Your weather station link worked for me, too, Drew ... unlike YouTube, which wouldn't load videos for me at all last night.

Good morning! 37˚F heading to the mid 40s, heavy clouds, misting. I was reminded of a missed project when I heard the dripping again last night in the gutter, but the rain stops today so I might wait for warmer drier weather. Yesterday's FireWise and today's park cedercide work was canceled because it's too wet and cold. I think for breakfast I'll toast some of my homemade sourdough whole-wheat jalapeño bread with a bit of orange marmalade. Our Meyer lemon tree and kumquat tree will have a good crop so lemon and kumquat marmalade will be plentiful by December.

The garden is looking good but needs thinning and the thinnings will make excellent greens to put in soups.

Good morning all, 50 going up to 64 - more rain, thick fog
Not able to do anything outside and calling for a few more inches tomorrow.

Stay safe and be well.
