Good afternoon, wow, what chilly temperatures many are seeing. Please do your best to keep that cold on your own side of the pond.

I don't know where the time disappeared this morning, I don't seem to have done anything useful other than fire up the range and insure the car. 65 must be a sweat spot age for insurance, it is costing just 」270 as long as I don't drive more than 8,000 miles in the next year. With Covid restrictions and my working days over, I won't get anywhere near that mileage.

Wng, great to hear that coco is happy again.

Rip, I think of a porch as a small cover over an entrance, no more than 3x the width of the door. Only when I saw the pics did I realise yours it a lot more work !

Took this picture a few days ago to get your opinion - do you think it is time to buy a new hose ? My wife walked over the top unaware of the leaks and got quite a shock

That can be recycled as a sprinkler hose for the garden next spring!

Dropped the bucket and put the front blade rigged to the loader...so, if we get any snow on Friday, I can plow it or use the blower...I'm hoping for 5-6 inches to make it a good day....we'll see
I'm getting used to the hydro transmission...pretty short learning curve, actually. But with my gimpy leg, I'll never win any speed contests going from forward to reverse and vice versa...

thanks Paul, nice charting/graphics
I ordered this one, had an Accurite last time and it was very inaccurate, though if not buying a Davis, the state of the art here is predictably low.

waiting for sun to come up so I can go downtown. Trying to cut my night driving to minimum due to deer

Hmmm, this is what came up on Drew’s weather station link.

Buppies, Coco is still improving...only one sore, but still a lot of missing hair spots...most will not grow back. She developed a limp and the vet said to go back to her prior level of prednisone. She is a fun and happy dog now.

I had a nice hike in the local park...didn't see a soul for 4.7 miles, but the trees were beautiful...the hickories are really strutting their stuff this year around here.

Glad coco is improving.

I’ve seen nice hickories also. A lot of the trees along my property look like hickory nuts, but not shag bark. Lots of yellow leaves.

Did the Tail two years ago, a lot of fun, but Ellen was holding on to the “oh sh-t” handle the whole time. LOL

I have never driven the Tail.

Did my early voting this evening after work. Line of about 30 people. Wife and kids went this afternoon.

Health open season at work, they took away my plan of BC. Only choice is united health care and one other.

United Healthcare is sending me a free covid test and a free dose of Tamiflu and digital thermometer "to be prepared"...don't know if all of their policies do that.

Got my grass cut, a lot of areas in the Holley grove didn’t have anything to cut but moss and mushrooms.
Still 62 outside but that will soon be gone. Headed for bed.
