buckeye, it has been an awful lot of years from the last time (11 years old) I was on Skyline Drive. She is still a pretty picture.

Randy, I bet that was a very good door.
A bit different approach here.
The bathroom door will be pocket door type, split to open both directions, the only way I can get 36”.
Here is the “hole”. Definitely a challenge. Gave up on the plasma cutter. No idea the problem, possibly paint too thick? I did grind down an area for ground. Resorted to a combination of 41/2 in cutoff wheels and good metal blade in reciprocating saw. Quite rough and needs dressing up.
The next door is a 6ft patio slider. Get to apply todays’ lessons learned for that one.

Good evening all. 63F for the start, raining :thumbsup:, .6 inch in gauge, windy. Low temp was 46F, High temp was 71F at 1 AM, overcast all day, peak wind about noon, slowed very slowly during the day. Grocery shopping in morning, nap in afternoon and conserve energy rest of time. Granddaughter getting married in two weeks, planning trip.
Covid update: Cooke 536 confirmed cases, 23 active cases, Montague 257 confirmed cases, 29 active cases, Grayson 2449 confirmed cases, 163 active cases.
David good news on dogs, trips to town seem to chew the day up this time of year.
RS lots done, hope wet sandblaster works for you.
Roy hope you get used to new tractor quickly, Getting everyone at plant to do their job COMPLETELY has always been the issue.

The 2.4 inches of rain forecast got shaved down to .75". It sure rained hard and the wind blew hard as well. A hard rainstorm pounding on the steel roof is music to my ears.

60 right now...the temperature is supposed to hit 64 then start dropping to around 50. Tonight...about 32.
Not enough trash for a dump run today. I do need to run to the hardware store for an outside extension cord (50' will do it). I need the cord to do the gutter cleaning I wrote about last week...also, to plug in the tractor's block heater when the time comes.
After that's done, I'll play around and continue familiarizing my self with the new tractor...definitely hook up the snow blower today. That'll be a good opportunity to try out the fender mounted draft links controls and the inching control. First thing, of course, is to rig the quick hitch..
Yesterday's follow up audit went quite well...the auditee did great. If he had been available for the first audit, we probably wouldn't have got the major finding.
Been awake since about 0200 or so...way too early! Reckon I'll finish this post and go back to bed for a few hours...

off early to meet friend and head South to VA to brother's home to load trailer.
I think it's going to be a very long day.
