Good morning!!!!

55 going to 60. Forecast of 36 on Sunday night/Monday.
Up at 3:30 am, can't sleep. 2 coffees already.
Part didn't come in for the furnace repair. Good thing I have 2 other forms of heat.
Dug the snow plow out of the woods and put it next to the garage so I can give it some paint touch up and other prep work yesterday.
Will be firing up all the leaf pickup tools today to make sure they are operable when needed.
Need to get the convertibles winterized and ready to put away.
My sister wants a light changed in her hallway so will get that done too. Good thing I have a 3 day weekend.
Don't know why I'm rushing so much, in 18 more days I will have all the time I need. LOL. 50 years of working makes old habits hard to break.
Stay safe and healthy!

Good morning! 55 and breezy. At least no fog like the last couple of mornings. High of 65 or so today. Cool weekend coming up.

It is Friday! Hopefully it is quiet at work today, I am the only one answering calls today. Have to make 2 separate trips to underground mines next week.

Not sure what I will get into this weekend

Everyone stay safe out there!

good morning all.
Rained all night but pretty much moved out of area now, though a few showers this morning. Happy to not have to drive to appt. in downpour.
Heard police sirens and fire/ems siren last night, very unusual, someone must have had a very bad night out on the main road with accident.

I never did tent camping, don't like bugs, I'm with Toppop. Queen bed and a/c or heat a must...

David, in boating your place would be called a "hurricane hole", where other folks go to for safety. Your biggest issue I think is a volcano...and high winds.

Phil, 18 days, marvelous. Hope you get your furnace part in today.

speaking of heat...70 out now, going up only 3 degrees today, then major cooling off and nights in the 50's. Fall is here

I expected to feel crappy this morning after cumulative effect of last chemo, but I feel great. Hopefully it will stay that way, they say it peaks 7-10 days after infusion.
Tinnitus jazzes up almost immediately. Am taking 100mg of prednisone for next five days, part of treatment to shrink tumor, and that means my back will feel wonderful for a while.
Will be glad to get off steroids totally soon, just not good for a variety of body parts.

Going to get my white blood cell booster shot this morning, then food shopping. I read that baked beans are good for you, but commercial stuff is just loaded with salt and sugar. Anyone know of premade canned bake beans that are healthier? Just not set up to make my own in this little kitchen.
I was really surprised how stuffed I was after eating that black bean soup last night.

RS, you are an inspiration to us all, the hosta and rhodie man.
Your place is going to look so nice when you are done.

Given all the above, we do have to wonder. What sort of emergency would force us to evacuate, but more importantly where would we go that痴 safer.

Maybe, you live on a volcano! :)

It is impressive how well you are well prepared for most anything likely to happen.

Good morning all. We have been enjoyed clear blue skies for the last few days and it looks to be the same again today once this mist has lifted. Gave myself the day off yesterday, back to the brickwork today.

Thomas, no need to rush when painting a ceiling, the Sistine chapel, took years. Probably was easier for Michelangelo to take his time though - he wasn't married. :) Sistine Chapel ceiling - Wikipedia

Mike had the pope breathing down his neck and from what I致e read, he wasn稚 all that interested in the opposite sex.

The ceiling was painted in 2 sections, he did 1/2 and quit, then was convinced to finish. About that same time, the pope was also convincing Galileo the sun revolved around the earth, now that痴 obvious!

His father told him that bathing caused illness so, he never took a bath, in his entire life.

Watching the lines of tourists walking thru the chapel in single file is just like a scene from that movie European Vacation.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 43° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 61° with mostly sunny skies. Got bird feeders up. Did not take long for birds to show up. Forgot to take Hummingbird feeders down. Hope to get at that today after a grocery shopping trip. Mowed lawn in afternoon. Need to do some trimming later today. Lots of trees are starting to change colors.
I have done open air, tent, travel trailer, motorhome. Nothing beat the motorhome. Also spent lots of time on our boats, If that can be counted as camping.
While doing garden pond maintenance the other day. I remembered one last flower to take a picture of.

Phil, you only think you will have lots of time to get things done. I don't know where the time goes. Maybe thinking about all the time I have to get a stuff done.

Drew, great picture of wife. I have some of those happy pictures of my wife that just give me the best smiles. Good you are getting Dr's line up in PA.

RS, a little bit of diesel fuel with put a stop to those bees. Makes me remember the bites I got this summer. Gardens looking good.

Thomas, enjoy rest day.

Rick, no thank you camping in -10°. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

David, I have seen the survival food kits they sell. Was one of those on Diane's list. You do have to worry about Hurricanes and Volcano Eruptions. Where would you go?

Everyone stay healthy and safe.

Good Morning All.

Good morning all

57 now, dew point 50, high of 62 today
Nighttime temps in the low 30’s thru the weekend. Time to clean the furnace!

The veggie garden is about done for this year. The rabbits, groundhogs and chipmunks harvested more than we did!
Fortunately there are plenty of local farm stands handy.

Thoughts are with those dealing with hurricanes, fires and smoke.

Enjoy your day everyone
