Thanks Yes it is. La Crosse $60 from Sam's Club. Over 2 years old. I bought a second one if this one died. It's 2 year extended warranty is about to expire. :confused3:

I have the same one, mine will be three years old this winter.

Good morning to all! Low of 54, todays high 80, hazy sun. The demarcation in the sky is back this morning.... deep blue sky to the north, hazy gray skies to the south....

Thomas, could you consider BooBoo to be a guard bear?.... looks like he is patrolling the perimeter...

Drew, your plans for this evening sound wonderful... pizza, wine, and a river.... plus good company! Enjoy the time.

Rng, hope you get the fire truck sorted out. I don't think it is operator error... sounds like something is clogged. Do you have easy access to the pump? Might try clearing the fittings / elbows in that area.

David, Makani sure looks small in that pic...

Speaking of big dogs... my neighbor has a Mastiff that weighs in at 160 lbs.... since she got the new fence all secure, she let the dog come out to run for the first time in the "new" area. Our two were out in the side yard (adjoining fences)..... our little Schnauzer, Kassie, was standing her ground and defending her property..... it was hysterical, she was scratching and kicking the dirt, barking and snorting at this big Mastiff.... The mastiff's head was bigger than she is... she was not going to give up either.... Max on the other hand, (who is twice the size of Kassie), who always pretends to be the big watchdog when he sees something, retreated up onto the deck between my legs at first sight of that Mastiff coming towards him.

Grandson is enjoying his new bike! He surprised me with how fast he got the hang of it, especially since he is riding on crushed stone and not pavement....
he has been complaining that his legs are sore.... no doubt....

Some more organization of the garden tools area in the garage today, then that should be finished. I bit the bullet and just ordered a new carb for the garden tractor. I'll see if that fixes the surging issue.

I have been reading some of you guys talk about the Ego mowers.... in my searching yesterday, I came across a Cub Cadet electric lawn tractor. Looks just like the regular gas ones, only Lithium battery powered.... pricey for sure around $4K.

Everyone have a great Sunday!

63-81 today, after a lovely 75 yesterday. Next week looks like 70s dropping to 60s on the weekend. I guess fall is here.

Church starts indoor services this weekend, limits, masks and distancing. Still not sure how comfortable I am though.

Not sure what I’ll do after church, but there’s a beef and dumplings dinner waiting for me later.

Everyone be safe and enjoy this day.

We resumed church worship service in May, with seats spread and masks.
I resolved a sound problem today. The streaming software had gotten it’s settings changed somehow, and last week half was broadcast with no audio until I was notified and found the missing setting. But still wasn’t letting us monitor sound from the stream in the sound room, but today figured out another setting got changed. Didn’t update the software, so not sure what caused settings to change.

Wife is getting lunch ready.

Beautiful day out.

Sore from laying on concrete floor yesterday to get mower blades off to sharpen and back on.

67°F and no rain last 24 hours.

Probably should finish mowing my mid sections but part of me wants to check out football. Should it be the activists who happen to have a ball, mowing will win.

Email from friends in Oregon say they are safe.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Drew, I do believe play is on his mind. Been interesting to watch as he gets closer as time goes on. The first day, Kekoa seemed to be protecting Simba from the puppy not allowing him to approach to close. Interesting in that when Makani is taken on puppy duty, Simba will often follow along.

Well, let this be a lesson to me...NEVER trust your wife's measuring!
The curtain rod for the large window is way too long...about 8 or 9 inches per end. Not a real big problem as as I can trim the required amount off each end piece (there's a small diameter rod that goes within the end pieces to allow the extension). Wifey wanted to do some clean up and my tubing cutter needs a new cutting wheel (ordered from Amazon today), so that will be a chore next weekend. We removed the curtains from the other two windows and the shorter rods will fit fine. However, that'll be a chore for next weekend as well.

Beautiful day! The earlier weather forecast was for rain, but none in today's forecast. The dog and I are enjoying the deck with a beer (none for the dog...she get's rowdy when she drinks)

Great pic!! Pup looks a bit intimidated by Big Dawg!!

Must just be the pic as in reality I’d say it’s otherway around currently although there was a brief bout of boxer play late yesterday. Reminding Kekoa to be gentle may be a deterrent.

Great pic, Ron thanks

73F and mostly cloudy @ 13:00 ... although I have seen the sun peek out once or twice. High for the day is headed to around 77F.

Had 0.22 of rain during the overnight, big cool down tomorrow: high will only hit 70F ...

Remove MMM and mount FEL/Box Blade on menu for today ... probably plant some hosta too ... if it's not too muddy.

If it is, might be a good day for a little garage clean up.

Hope everyone has an enjoyable, productive, and safe day ...

Try McMaster-Carr, David. If they don't sell it, chances are you don't need it. Fast delivery, too, right RS?

I suspect that depends on one's proximity to one of there warehouses ... but I would say that they are very efficient with how quickly they process orders and get them out the door.

... Took this picture of garden pond waterfalls yesterday.

That looks great ...

Wingsprd, I have a pull behind seeder that work very well for your type of project.

Yup ...

Have one from Sears ... that I need to rebuild this winter (broken impeller, and seized up)

Was definitely a lot cheaper than $6K ...

RS, I keep seeing Bluebirds at my house also. Must be checking them out for next year.

Yeah, could be ... seeing who gets first shot on the deluxe accommodations ...

Hummingbirds must have headed south.

Seems likely with the cool weather lately ... haven't seen any here for a while now ... :confused3:

11% until the 19th ... ;)

... RS, happy well fed bluebirds

Drew,

I'm hoping they will figure it out ...

Enjoy your relaxing get-together ... and the fresh laundry !

Ted. He’ll be 8 weeks old come Tue, small may be appropriate.

Always thought it somewhat comical watching little vs big dogs, Napoleon complex?

just spent over two hours on a zoom meeting for monthly business meeting at church in PA, and of course my Mifi crashed half way through it, kept working but
pixellating at times and very unhappy. Screen shrinks to about one quarter size automatically I guess to save bandwidth.

RNG, I'd get a couple of these and spare filters

I always find it interesting that some of the videos with absolutely huge numbers of hits, like ten million or more, are of animals/pets interacting with each other, particularly if they are curled up together

I ordered something from them a few years back. Was surprised that the order for same item was shipped from 2 warehouses due to qantity. Very good service

Ron, really nice photo.

David Sodamo, good to see the kids getting along.....I wish mine would be that good. :)

Yesterday, I got the daughter on the 4310 tractor mowing, then I was going to get on the bigger machine. It had a front flat. :( Just a slow leak, but I had to use a portable air can and make 2 trips to get it full enough. Then, I fired it up and remembered I parked it low on fuel...I went and got 21.6 gallons of diesel at $1.80/gallon (crammed into 4 jugs.) Got home and filled up tractor. It took all but the last 1.5 gallons. Daughter had already finished about 2.5 acres, and had put up the small tractor. It was hot, so I decided I MIGHT mow later. Well evening came and I got distracted watching last week's flat track race... It got dark at 7: 40ish, and it was still hot.

Woke up pre-dawn, thought about firing up the tractor to mow.....Then thought twice about it, not to awake a sleeping wifey. At 7:30am, I finally got out there and got after it. My goal was to mow down all the high johnson grass (that I need to treat). It took 2.5 hours, but I got most all of it. Also while I was dirty, I got on the rider for a few minutes to hit an area behind the barn the daughter missed.

Then got cleaned up to go to church.

New outside cat is doing alright, post spaying surgery. We let her roam the barn with the doors open during the day. She is friendly to people, but runs the chickens out of the barn (good thing), and she has the full grown neighbor cats afraid of her. She is a tough cookie. Maybe that's how she survived, living in the woods.

RNG, yes, the HEPA will work. Any air cleaner will help. Put something over your HVAC blower's filter to help, but not block too much. A thin sheet maybe?

Hope all of youz have a blessed day.
