71F and fair @ 20:30, overnight low of 59F for tonight.

Got bird feeders refilled first thing. After that drove out the bushings on the old damaged gauge wheel and installed them in the new one and installed it on the MMM and greased it up.

Then more work on northwest planting bed, soil very easy to work due to moisture ...

After that pulled out the Stihl HT101 pole saw and trimmed low-hanging branches on oak and a couple of hawthorns.

Late afternoon mowed as much as I could (80%) down here around the house due to it being wet.

Then I trimmed off a couple more branches on the large rhododendron where it was going up into the electric lines. Have one more branch to go, will do tomorrow.

Got 20 more hosta separated and planted.

The Woman brought home Pad Thai and egg rolls, was good.

Hope everyone had a great day.

We ended getting .5” rain. Cleared up after noon, sun came out, hit 90s.
Didn’t do much today.
We had preordered crab cakes from the fire dept, went to pick them up and they didn’t have an order for us. So got crab cakes takeout from a restaurant.
Did work on more genealogy.
No tornado at Dad’s.

Good evening all. 80F for the start, partly cloudy sky, calm wind. Moderate wind at noon then eased off again, sky cleared up, and high temp was 102, feels like 111F. Bike ride this morning, 53 miles and 14.5 average, heat getting to me at end of ride. Did get nap in today. Looking forward to cool off next week :)

Stop at Kubota dealer looking for good second hand snow

I have a Bobcat 6' snow plow with quick attach that's available
for a good price as I could use the space it's taking up.
Let me know if you're interested.

The photos were taken when it was new but very little use since I purchased
the snow blower.

58 going to 70. Should be a nice sunny day.
Hopefully air tech will be here this morning trying to finish setup and install. We need to get everything moved out of the master bedroom for tomorrow's wood install. If air is not working we need to move everything around that we already placed elsewhere. We are supposed to drop to 49 tomorrow night. Hopefully the garden will survive.
Stay safe and healthy all!

Good morning, the sun is shining and we are back to seeing several planes at the same time, high up in the clear blue sky. We are due a visit from our daughter and family today who are just back from holiday. No planes for them, not this year, nor previous years, they seem content to explore this country. They are returning from a sleepy seaside town called Cromer. Sea, sand and plenty of rocks to throw, plus a heated indoor pool for when you have too much of the bracing weather. For young kids it doesn't get much better, I doubt they will grow up regretting they missed out on waiting around inside crowded airports.

Ron, those stupid prices are incredulous, even for the best of the best. Suspect it is a self perpetuating scheme where a small group of farmers sell to one another at ridiculously inflated prices in an attempt to fool others into thinking they are getting a bargain when bidding for their other stock at a lot less than those headline prices. Someone must fall for it though, they pull publicity stunts like that almost every year.

LS, nice job again. Hope you have enough paint left for the welding cart - would hate to see you having to leave a project unfinished in bare metal for a whole day, you would never sleep :D

Kyle, disappointed with your dream - touring so close to where we live, pumpkin farm is just up the road and not calling in to see us :)

59 right now...high in the upper 60's today.
Might be too wet to mow today...maybe this afternoon. The rain was much needed though.
So, I have some weed pulling and trimming to do...that'll keep me occupied for a while.

good morning all, 75 going up to 88 nice sunny day
didn't sleep well last night, upset stomach and headache but finally got back to sleep later.
Looking forward to washing parts of rv this morning and getting a little sun on my face before it gets hot and humidity
goes up.

I like lamb but that would be one pricey meal at those sheep prices...how do even three farmers spend half a million on a sheep?
Despite the occasional negative headline I'm finding that meat prices are going back to normal and actually finding things on sale.
Hopefully that's a sign of things slowly getting back to the "new normal", whatever that is.
I need to call my doctor on Monday to find out if I can get a flu shot while going through chemo. One more infusion on Sept 16 and I'm done.
I hope...

Roy my friends in Delaware said they were weeding today too; I think a lot of folks will take advantage of the softer soil.

Ted, great job. Anyone who has lifted a full five gallon diesel can up on top of a tractor hood will appreciate that. Those cans got heavier and heavier each year and always
annoying when you slopped fuel on hood. When I put in my 250 gallon diesel tank
with electric pump, I smiled every time I filled up.

RS, sounds like you will have beautiful gardens when you are done

Hope you all have a peaceful Sunday
